I called to reserve a loaner car 2 days before i took my x5 in for an oil change, Morgan Townsend literally has the worst attitude she rolled her eyes at me when i repeatedly told her that my car was being serviced and i needed a loaner that i reserved for i wanted a x5. Took an 1 hour just to bring the loaner car around! I live in Temecula and because of her i will take my X5 to another dealer, as well as inform all my family members and friends about my experience.
My wife purchased a used BMW X1 and I was anxious to have it looked over by a dealer to make sure there was nothing major wrong with it. I called BMW of Escondido to see if I could get a service appointment there (as it was closer to my home), but was shocked at the rudeness of the young lady answering the service line. Beware! after repeated assurance that when I took delivery of my new 2 series they would take back my leased X1 four months early, after completing the purchase the salesman then informed me that the X1 was not part of the deal and I would now need to keep it till the end of the lease term. I have contacted Mr. Boris Said & BMW USA, to no avail. Solution: Get any offers in writing prior to signing any paperwork at this dealership, where has honesty, integrity and honor gone? My last two vehicles I've purchased were BMW's. This review encompasses several visits stemming from my initial purchase all the way through service. My original encounter comes in 2013 when I originally started looking for a BMW, I was very specific in what I wanted. Well...I hate to do this but it has to be disclosed. As the work was completed weeks ago, my car has been running rough. Thinking it was just the cold weather due to the issues only happening when I first start up the car in the morning. Next thing I know, my check engine light is popping on. I took my car in to have it checked because this started immediately after my car was serviced. I got a letter from BMW advising me of their Air Bag recall, so I called the dealership to make an appointment. They didn't have any replacement units available but told me they'd call me back when they had new delivery of airbags. To my surprise, they called back only a couple of days later and fixed an appt for me. Chad Ludwig was very personable and helpful when we took the car in and we were in and out of there within 10 minutes. I would not advise dealing with them. They continuously negotiated with me in bad faith. I spent a ton of time working with them on a new car purchase, and was about to go to the point of taking a train to them to pick up a new car, when I realized they'd been dishonest with me about the price. Every time I have had my car serviced/repaired by BMW of Murrieta, it was returned right the 1st time. Never once have they told me they couldn't duplicate the problem. Dealing with Victoria Guthery truly makes it a concierge experience.
