I had shopped around for my first new car at several area BMW dealerships and my initial conversations with Kevin at Tischer were by far the most helpful. I explained to him what I wanted and that I was familiar with the pricing of the cars and he cheerfully offered a great price for the car with the very few options I wanted. I had my paranoia startig the car negotiation from online search and telephone calls, before stepping into the show room for the first time to meet with Jerry, wondering if there would be any bait-and-switch tactics. I have been buying cars for over 25 years and have purchased more cars in my lifetime than I care to recall. The sales and service staff at this dealership are the best I have ever encountered. They were the ultimate in professionalism and fairness. Although I live further away from Tisher than the BMW Dealer in Catonsville, I will make the drive to Tischer for as long as I own this automobile. I stopped in Tischer BMW to test drive a BMW, with no intention of purchasing a car that day. In fact, I hadn't done my research yet. With no pressure, but all the helpful assistance in the world, Michael and Mike provided me with a computer to research the car and competitor pricing (and left me alone to do it). We recently purchased a 2009 BMW 335 xDrive from Norman Weinstock at Tischer BMW, Silver Spring, MD. We took European Delivery which led to a lot of extra work for Norman to arrange for all of our paperwork back and forth between here, BMW headquarters in Newark, and BMW Munich. Norman was very thorough, friendly, and careful to make sure that we had everything done at the appropriate time.
