I took my BMW to get some work done and a oil change, once I got it back the oil was/still leaking, my check engine light turned on and is still on, I will take it back and see what they can do.
"Warranty service. Tires" This was a tough time to have to do the last warranty service. Our car was picked up and returned to us. A video was sent to show car needs. It couldn’t have been done any better.
"$1000 is way too expensive for a wheel bearing on an X3..." $1000 is way too expensive for a wheel bearing on an X3 with 33000 miles. The car was bought at Sarasota and just out of CPO warranty. A quick check on the part number online showed the bearing sells for about $100. Sarasota charged me $380 for the bearing. Add $540 labor and other misc charges and the bill went over $1000. Maria in the service dept. has always given me FIRST CLASS SERVICE, even when my BMW 750i was taken off the road for several months while they had an intercooler recall. When I got the vehicle from BMW Sarasota the vehicle had 8326 miles on it from the owner but was leased to me "exactly the same a brand new one, with all the same warranties" That included 3 years 36,000 Ultimate Care for all scheduled maintenance.
