My mom came down from out of state to buy a 2022 Toyota Corolla from this dealership. She was told there would be no extra (out of pocket) fees because she was buying out of state, when that was obviously a blatant lie because they have made her pay over $500 in fees (which she had to drive down here from South Carolina to pay). We purchased within our house hold 3 cars back in May of 2018 from Bob Tyler, sales associate at the time was Joe Alex. Fast forward to today... My car of which I have only put 30,000 miles since I bought it. My car currently has 60,875 miles. The car started having white smoke coming from the tailpipe. I hate this dealership. They schedule you for service and you click that you’ll be using the shuttle but then you get there and the shuttle isn’t running that day. You then wait 6 hours for a simple oil change. You have an appointment with the body shop at 845 on Saturday? Get there, get directed by service employees to drive to the back building, stand around outside that building, knock, call, drive back to the front service underpass and they tell you the body shop is closed on Saturday and they don’t know why someone sch... read more
Unfortunately our experience was bitter sweet, Our Sales person was Neal Essex and he was GREAT, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! He knows his product knowledge and is very respectful. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the finance manager Brandon!Buyer beware if you have to finalize your paperwork with him, he lied directly to me and tried to sneak additional cost into our paperwork and got caught! BEWARE of FRAUDULENT business practices and bogus charges by this dealership. My husband took our Sienna in to have the radio checked. We were quoted a price of $150 just for diagnosis—a bit pricey but we agreed. After they had our car for over 6 hours, husband goes to pick up the car and we get a bill for $275. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER!! Bob Tyler Toyota/ Hill Kelly Dodge Pensacola--I bought a 2015 Jeep Cherokee in December 2020 from Bob Tyler Toyota in Pensacola FL. I drove it very few miles around town until March when I decided to take a trip out of town. Absolutely awful service all around. I bought a used truck in Jan 2021 from them and that experience was fine. I brought the truck in for a clunking noise I was having when stopping, which they couldn't diagnose and told me to keep driving it till it got worse (really safe right?!). After barely driving it for a month because I didn't feel safe, I was washing the truck and noticed my passenger side leaf spring was twisted. I went there with my son and daughter-in-law to buy a car told the salesman about my referral had other salesman to tell him seeing that my salesman passed away I’m still bringing in business. They are so cheap that it’s going to hurt there company to give me the $50.00 I’ve go two daughters needing new cars and I’ll be taken them elsewhere not here in Pensacola

This is the most poorly managed dealership in all of Toyota. It’s all about greed, and never about customer service. You have to wait a month to get an appointment, then when you show up, you’re told it’s a 2 to 3 hour wait. Why is it Sandy Sansing can create a quick service area for it’s customers, but Bob Tyler prefers his customers to suffer. I’ll never buy another Toyota, because this is all we have around here. Absolutely pathetic. They get worse over time, not better. Next time, it’s a Ford for me.
