The wife and I brought a new Highlander, we have brought several vehicles there and this time shocked me. We were told that GAP was no longer offered to military or Vets, that it was a corporate rule. I should have canceled this deal. I did contact the Toyota corporate sight. They are checking into it Not a very pleasant deal Military and Vets ask first about your financing, ask about the GAP
Do not expect this dealership to honor their word. 3 times I was promised something that was not delivered. From service, to their customer service relations department, my expectations weren't even close to being met. Don't bother buying the extended warranty either. That was a waste of money. After 6 days of back and forth with Bob Tyler Toyota, and Toyota Corporate, I'll be turning my lease in and going somewhere that honors their word.
Business response:

To start out simply, no I do not recommend Bob Tyler Toyota. My tumultuous experience begins over seven months ago. During the Christmas holiday break of 2018 a check engine light came on in my car, after running the code I knew it was a valve position sensor. I took it in to get it fixed and within a day they contacted me and said that they had ordered the part and that my car would be ready for pick up the following day. Later that night, after picking my car up, the CEL came back on. I, just like the service department, f... read more

Hi Jerry, our deepest apologies. We have had five master technicians look at your vehicle and we were not able to locate the cause of the issue. If you would like to seek further inspection, please reach out to Toyota Experience at 1-800-331-4331.
Read this experience:I owned Toyota's for the past 25 years. Had brake problems on my Tundra, 2018 to 2019. Took it to Bob Tyler Toyota service several times and I was told each time there was no problem with the breaks, meanwhile it took more and more pressure on the brake pedal to stop the truck. On the last visit I was told the master brake and booster needed to be replaced, cost $1700. When I balked at the price the service writer told me " he would look for 3rd party parts". Really??? I don't go to a Toyota deale... read more

My wife brought in our 3 month old 2019 RAV4 to have it looked at because it was leaking oil. She called before taking it down there because it was 1.5 hours before they closed and was told they would squeeze her in. She gets there 10 minutes later and is told there is no way she was being seen without an appointment. After arguing with the service writer, the manager that told her to come in told them to look at her vehicle. Then she waited 2 hours for them to say whoever filled her vehicle up last spilled oil and they wipe... read more
They take advantage of women in the dealership. Lie about changing oil and they have messed my car up.
Three and a half hours of waiting and I got my car back with the gas pedal cut up and buttons on the dash were not working or plugged in at all.
