The application / approval process took a few weeks because I applied for an income-restricted property (awesome that they offer these!) but working with Justine was a breeze! She was great at communicating and keeping me up to speed on the process, she was super friendly and professional. We've lived at Cruise for about a month and we love it. The staff made applying and signing the lease a breeze. It was the smoothest move-in I've ever experienced. The rent is a good deal and we love our two bedroom. We are on the fourth floor, and so, that might make a big difference. We're not sure what it would be like in a studio or one bedroom on a different floor. Nevertheless, we've found the building to be incredibly quiet and very comfortable. I'm a nurse recently relocated from the Washington DC area and Boutique Apartments could not have been more helpful in my transition! With only a few days to find an apartment the wonderful staff was efficient, patient, and professional. Contrary to a couple of the reviews here, I've not had any issues with the Boutique Apartments team thus far, in fact, they've gone out of their way to help me out when an issue has come up. The leasing and office staff has all been fantastic and extremely helpful, and all of the maintenance personnel have been professional and courteous. While others may have had issues, I have nothing but praise for the team.
Horrible experience with this management company. Their entire model seems to be churning through tenants rather than maintaining a decent place for people to live long-term. I lived in my unit before the property was taken over by Zellis, and things have gone downhill fast since then. Living here has been the most stressful experience I've ever had to go through. I got behind on rent due to a job change but had communicated what was going on and when they could expect my payment. I got a notice on my door to pay by January 12th. I paid OVER that amount before the 12th. 13 fire alarms set off in the past 7 months! Management, obviously, doesn't fix the problem. Poor communication. This should breach the Warranty of Habitability agreement! City needs to get involved! No star rating.

Zellis/Boutique still has not sent me my security deposit or any explanation regarding it and I moved out in SEPTEMBER. It is now almost FEBRUARY. I had to endure so much from this rental company which I will go into if I continue not to hear back from them. I call them at least once a week and have to leave a message every time. The most awful management company I've ever had the displeasure of renting from. These people have zero communication skills. Upped everyone's rent for a sh*t hole that's falling apart. These people don't care about you as residents. They only care about your money and serving you a 30 day notice when you're a little late on rent. No thank you. I will be avoiding ever renting from this company again. Zellis residential formally known as boutique apartments. They definitely need to do better.
