This veterinary clinic used to be my favorite until my last boarding experience. The desk manager named Tamara has off putting personal skills and can't wait to tell you no when you ask for anything. We have been going to this clinics with our beloved pets for 10 years. We will never be back.

Despite being warned by several friends not to go here, becasue of proximity to my new neighborhood, I gave them shot. However after 18 months I agree with many people on here and am now listening to the people who warned me that this is not a very good clinic. If you're looking for a vet who will treat and care for your pet the way you'd like your pediatrician or doctor to treat you, this is not the place.

The staff doesn't care about the animals, nor about the human clients who love them. I have been going there for 26 years; my pets and I get shuttled from vet to vet. Whenever they finally hire a competent vet, they leave.

Their systems are designed to get you to pay the highest possible price. Always ask them for price check guarantee or they will will charge you double for everything. Better yet avoid this spot all together.

I have been going to Brykerwood for five years with my dog. They've consistently treated us well, but today is the exception. The last time I got heart guard for my dog from them (in April) it cost ~$38 - I know this because I budget, so I wrote down what I paid on the box in April so I'd know what it costs the next time. Today, my boyfriend took our dog to get her heart worm medicine and it cost ~$73. I called them to ask why the price had suddenly doubled and they told me that last time I must have explicitly asked them to... read more

I really wanted to like Brykerwood, but after a misdiagnosis and incorrect vaccination without remorse, on multiple occasions on multiple pets for multiple members of my family, I cannot recommend this clinic. Long story short: I took my healthy and active 13-year-old dog to Brykerwood twice in three days and she was misdiagnosed twice in those two visits, resulting in me spending three days thinking my dog was dying of an aggressive cancer before getting a second opinion. That vet saw no evidence of cancer. Beyond the trau... read more

I went in to have a physical for my dog and he also had something going on with his eye. Within basically a minute the vet (I am assuming it was a vet who knows had to ask her name at the end of the appointment because she never told me) that he needed probably would need surgery. I don't know, can you take more than two seconds to diagnose my dog? Then she commented on his weight and that he is getting older his metabolism is slowing but yet never made recommendations on exercise or food or asked what he eat or his eating p... read more

imo, bethany moore is a perfect representation on exactly how not to conduct oneself when in a position of working with people and their cherished loved ones. after an extremely terrifying incident, where my 10 yr old, 140lb Mastiff completely lost his ability to use the back half of his body, (fell down while playing, couldn't stand up, legs completely limp) i began calling around trying to find a Vet to see him. Eventually i landed on Brykerwood, where i explained to staff what had happened. They mentioned something to ... read more

Great front-end staff, crappy doctors. I went to Brykerwood for years. While my pet was healthy it was all fine, but when she started to get sick, it was "try this, try that" with no solutions as my pet slowly got sicker. They never did any blood work. Never. And this went on for YEARS. Never an x-ray. It's fine if they had reached the limit of their medical knowledge, but they should have referred me somewhere better. I left when the doctor said "I don't know what else to try" without any referral or even calling a colleagu... read more
