I have been having issues with them since day 1. They didn't even identify themselves as a vendor/authorized dealer of ADT and presented themselves as ADT itself until I asked them why the paperwork had Bull Dog Security on them. My gf still wanted to go ahead and just sign up for the service since we had just moved in and didn't feel safe without an alarm system. So we ignorantly signed up with them. Worst mistake ever! From day 1 I should have known not to sign a contract with them. The reference came from my realtor, who I thought I could count on. Because I have had ADT service before, I thought my experience through Bulldog would be the same. On install day the service rep tried to upsell between 3 packages varying in price from over $2500-$9k. Outrageous for a 2 story 3000 sq ft home in my opinion. In addition to that we had multiple problems with our doorbell camera. They never fully remedied the problem, but they sure did charge fu... read more

Bulldog staff wears ADT uniform confusing me who is unfamiliar with the space. They told me my rate will be locked forever but now ADT says that they will raise my rate by about 10%. The installer left a mess of wires behind and I will switch to another company at the first opportunity.
Bulldog staff wears ADT uniform confusing me who is unfamiliar with the space. They told me my rate will be locked forever but now ADT says that they will raise my rate by about 10%. The installer left a mess of wires behind and I will switch to another company at the first opportunity.
Less than a year into our contract, we've got a window sensor cover plate that broke off of the sensor. Quoted $230 to repair it - $60 for the trip out and $170 for 30 minutes of their time. Never regretted signing up for a service more than this company. Please do not be fooled, do not trust ADT or Bulldog Security.

I rent a home that already had an ADT system in it. We decided to activate service and the Bulldog Security salesperson gave us what seemed like a great deal included several pieces of free equipment. We were told specifically that he was making an exception because they were not supposed to do this for rental homes. He said we can cancel at anytime but, if we wait until after 13-months we would own the equipment and therefore wouldn't owe any money back.
