Very mediocre food
We always love to return to Cafe Fiorrello when visiting from Florida. Our number one pick for over 20 years when visiting, which we do often. Sadly this will be our last visit as the (mens) restroom is NOT AT ALL friendly for wheelchair accessibility. Downright dangerous in fact. A sad farewell to an old favorite for us.
Very disappointing- after 30 yrs coming here- kitchen not up to par- signature Jewish artichokes not cooked properly & waiter forgot our main course. Too bad to see an old favorite fall so low.
Food was pretty good but the service was really impersonal. Our other restaurant experiences were much better. At Redeye (the same group) the service was much better.
Silverware was dirty with food still on it Of three pieces of french toast one was not cooked When I asked for butter a plate with three wrapped pieces had a long black hair with it. Will not be back.
Always enjoy Fiorella but the service was very disappointing, we didn’t receive our dessert and we were celebrating a birthday. The food was good, when we got it. We had to flag down waiters for everything.
I ordered spaghetti carbonara. I received what was in effect spaghetti alfredo. I would like Fiorello's chef to name one restaurant in Rome that serves this dish smothered in heavy cream with a poached egg on top, instead of in a sauce made by mixing egg yolks and cheese into the hot pasta. The chef should view the Stanley Tucci episode on Rome to learn how to make this dish correctly. It was a very disappointing meal because spaghetti carbonara is one of my favorites.
Maybe we chose cafe fiorello on the wrong day. We had reservations for brunch at 11:15 on Sunday March 20. They had no pancakes left !!! I ordered plain scrambled eggs and they weren’t hot. Noise level was so high you could hardly hear the person next to you…never again!
Worst brunch ever!!!! Don’t go to this place
