Service was so slow that we had to skip the main course. Maitre D was understanding, as like this has happened before. One other incident (10/9th - booked through open table). An important business dinner of 4, plenty of drinks, our dining area totally empty and the Maitre D put a family with very young kids right next to us. His reason is the family has a specific table. Location is great to Lincoln Center but the food is mediocre at best and over priced. The Caesar salad was dry and basically just lettuce. Both my uncle and I had a pasta dish and both was bland. Many other, much better restaurants.
We used to love this place. We were staying directly across the street at the Empire. Unfortunately, I was not feeling well and ordered a pickup order. The hotel does not have forks or knives (don't get me started), so when I ordered their famous lasagna I specifically asked for cutlery to cut and eat my food with. very disappointed with my meal- ordered the salad with chicken- turned out to be a small dinner salad with cold shredded chicken
Only pizza is good, the rest are disappointed.
Mediocre food in a restaurant geared to tourists. Despite location near Lincoln Center, not a good option in my opinion.
It was terrible! We ordered a salad and waited 1.5 hours for the main course. By the time the food arrived we were not hungry anymore. The excuse was that the chef called in sick. They offered free desert which I did not want. It was the worst birthday I ever had.
It has been very disappointing that this restaurant has been charging EXTRA for a small amount of their tasty flatbreads. This causes many to order a less expensive meal - sometimes only an appetizer, when the flatbreads used to be served with our cocktails.
Food was cold. Server disappeared after taking our credit cards. We had to insist to the host that we had to leave in order to get our cards back and pay.
