Not a place I’d go back to. Definitely overpriced, even for NYC! There were two of us... a price fixe pasta lunch at $21 pp with 1 glass of wine each and a dish of ice cream (two scoops—the size of golf balls!) came to $108 before tip! What really put it over the moon —shocking to find a glass of house Cabernet cost $18 WOW!
Server war not very hospitable. Would not want him again.
Food was very good; service was very good. The amount of seating space was so minimal that it was painful and uncomfortable. We were seated so close to the tables next to us that we couldn't talk to each other. We have been coming to Fiorello's for many, many years but will make other plans in the future.
Lasagna ? More like a wet pizza ....fried artichokes ...yucky .... focaccia very good
.we had 5 30 reservations for dinner in time to make 7pm curtain at Lincoln Center across the street. We made it known we were going to theater. At 645 dinner not served and waiter brought plate of vegetables "so we would not be hungry"!!!!! We left money for drinks and had to leave. Never to return.
The food was very good but the noise level made it difficult to talk and thus ruined what could have been a more enjoyable experience
Although the food is mostly decent, the service at Fiorello's is always spotty at best. This past Saturday evening, it was abominable. Eugert should get another job. All night all I did was to cran my neck to try to find him for some service and he was never there. Not once during the night did he come to the table to see if we needed or wanted anything. The food quality and menu variety have declined since last year. The clams oreganata was swimming in oil and was served luke warm. The spaghetti carbonara was extremely salty. Worst of all, they no longer have the very thin parchment bread for which they were noted . Over all, a disappointing, overpriced experience.
The polenta served with the beef ribs was spoiled. Horrible
