Too crowded. Had a table where people kept bumping into me as they passed. Menu has changed since last we were there and classic italian dishes such a chicken or veal marsala or piccata were not on the menu. Menu seemed limited, with a lot of sandwiches.
fish was servedf cold as well as the spinach however one of the managers came to our table and when told of the problem he insisted on preparing a new fish order.
Have eaten at Fiorella for as long as it has been open. I am disappointed now at how the menu has evolved and recently found fewer appealing or classic dishes on the menu.
We have been going to Cafe Fiorello for 20 years and have recommended it friends all of these years but recently the menu has been changed for the worse and worse than the so has the quality of the food. We had the tuna, branzino and pasta served as our main courses. All three were disappointing. The pasta at a local pizza/pasta restaurant is better and is half the price.
I have been a patron of the restaurant for years but lately Cafe Fiorello has been a big disappointment. What’s the hype all
We frequent this establishment because we live in the neighborhood and usually have a good experience. Last night we had a waiter I had never seen before and we were trying to clarify two items on the menu which had the exact same description even though they were clearly two distinctly different items. These were the chicken pepperoni parm and the chicken parm with vodka sauce. The waiter didn't seem to care when we pointed it out , and we couldn't get clarification from him either. This is a very unusual experience for thi... read more
Horrible horrible service. Waited 50 minutes for food.
Cafe Fiorello likes to advertise itself as being gluten-free and vegetarian friendly, which it isn't. I ordered a gluten-free pasta dish and basically got a small bowl of pasta with tomato sauce for $25. A drink costs more than a salad. The food is mediocre and overpriced, even for Lincoln Center.
