Would you like attitude with that? It’s free. Our waiter was so full of attitude. Add a little passive aggression and stir. It seemed such a bother for him to take our order. When the antipasto came three elements were missing. “Oh well” he said, “we must have run out”. He didn’t bother to attempt to check this assumption. And the evening service was just getting going....... so clearly they would not have run out of key elements to a dish. Everything about this place is touristy and you feel that you are an imposition to th... read more
We had eaten at Bond 45 a sister restaurant with a similar menu. Ordered similar but they were not the same at all. Strawberry pancakes meant they put 3 slices of fresh strawbery on top. Very little maple syrup was offered. Service was terrible and disinterested. Took over a half hour to get coffee. Would not go back or recommend
It was very loud and almost felt as fast food Italian restaurant as we were asked fast what tonorder pizza cane up in 5 min although Martinos took longer and I’m pretty sure it did not have our requested grey goose vodka but house one. Also they did not say they were out of Filets till we were ready tonorder those. Very disappointed to drive from Plaza Hotel for that bad experience..
Went for Sunday brunch. Used to love mini muffins they served....no longer. Wasn’t even offered bread. Waiter got entire order wrong...didn’t even apologize. Service was terrible. Food went downhill. Definitely skip for brunch. Even when we went to be seated, maitre d’ said he had set a table for us that we did not want. When we showed him where we wanted to sit he said that was held for diners with dogs. Ironically, when all those tables were filled, there was not one person dining with a single dog. He lied. Poor service and mediocre food. This place used to be great but has gone downhill. Food is not so great, slow and waiters outside on the terrace and nowhere to be found! You have to constantly flag down staff. Huge disappointment!
their special lasagna feeds 4 people. we ordered it for one and the server didnt say anything. three quarters of it stayed on the plate since we were going to the theatre
i’ve dined at cafe fiorello numerous times over many years and have always enjoyed it and thought it was a good option when going to a performance at lincoln center. i was sadly disappointed in my most recent experience as prices have increased and food was good but not par for the prices. next time i think i will stick to the pizza there or find another restaurant. i was really turned off by them charging an extra $7 for a very small serving (barely a half cup) of pasta added on to my pricey veal parmigiana entree, which wa... read more
The food was definitely not up to Fiorello standards. The quinoa salad was very, very salty. My dad’s veal was thin and dry. We had been going for years but will not return.
Location and service was very good. Food was average and a little salty.
