I never write bad reviews, really. But had to this time. We have always enjoyed Cafe Fiorello’s bar area when we stop in without a reservation for supper after the opera or ballet. We decided to reserve a table for post-ballet supper on Valentines Day. I reserved this weeks in advance. We wound up with a truly horrible table that was super uncomfortable in a tiny dark back corridor behind the wait station even though there were plenty of tables available in the main dining area, which was lively, comfortable, and nicely lit.... read more

The Cafe is far too noisy. I found the menu very limiting. I am not a pasta eater so even fewer choices were left. I found the food disappointing and over priced. I have visited the cafe four previous times and this very disappointing. My waiter was skilled but I rarely saw him
Good food, but way, way over priced
This is a restaurant I have usually enjoyed over many years. My recent experience there was awful. 1/2 of what we asked for from the menu they did not have. The fish my husband and I had were the worst we have tasted anywhere. My recent experience suggests the restaurant is going down hill. Please pay attention to this review.
Waited 20 mins at the bar when we had a booking, had to carry a full drink to the table which was subsequently spilled when they didn't pull the table out for us and I had to manoeuvre my way into a corner table. Waiter barely waiter for us to finish our sentences before he ran off. Took >40 mins for food. They brought us the wrong pasta and no one was around to check it was okay so we just ate it. We have eaten at Fiorello's several times over many years. This latest experience was terrible. We spent $130 on a mediocre meal. We won't dine there again.
Terrible Tuna !!!
We've eaten here many times pre-theater. Unfortunately, this time was not up to par. Water was served immediately - and then served again. Drinks were brought to our table, but they weren't ours. Getting the wait staff to take our drink and food order was an effort and then there was a long wait for them to be served.
