THIS TIME AT FIORELLO, the food was a disaster. Antipasto Bar: the mushrooms were just not edible. Instead of 3 vegetables and 2 seafood, I got FIVE vegetables, but only ONE seafood!!
Was a bit confused by this restaurant. Italian name, European decor with your standard American brunch menu. Everything was fine - seated promptly, server prompt (Saturday morning at 10am - no reason not to be). Food was nicely presented and tasted fine (smoked salmon eggs benedict). I did find the coffee slightly bitter and was surprised not to have the milk heated. For me, this was a sign of how Americanized the restaurant is. Loud, crowded and over priced this place doesn’t offer a pleasant dinning experience but does allow a quick bite across from Lincoln Center - it’s the only reason to eat there
Terrible service. Poorly cooked food. Brought our dinner right after they brought our appetizer. We had barely started it. We were sharing appetiser and never brought plates - had to use our bread plates! Sent back food because it was undercooked and they brought it after everyone else was done (grilled salmon!). Kitchen is very slow. Took one hour to get our meal despite not being very busy.
Exists on its location. Being near Lincoln Ctr it's reputation is solid. As fine cuisine it is not there.
Service was horrible!
I've been going to Fiorello's since I was a kid, for almost 10 or 15 years now. It was always a family favorite for light fare, especially with so many vegetarians around. So it seemed the obvious choice for a quick anniversary lunch with my husband before a Lincoln Center show. Sadly, this visit was highly disappointing. The food was undercooked. We had a very disappointing experience for a neighbor who has dined at this establishment many times. The staff was clearly not up to par. As a frequent VIP OpenTable user, it has been a long while since we have had such a bad experience. Every establishment has a bad day now and then, I hope that is what we encountered yesterday and not a trend for this restaurant.
