Service was awful. Waiter didn't come initially for 15 min. Then I asked for water 4 times before I asked a busboy and he finally gave me some. There was no more refilling of that water. Even the check had to be brought by the busboy because the waiter was not paying attention to us.

Booked the table thru Open Table & checked in with Hostess when we arrived. She obviously did not check us in @ Open Table sent me a email & questioned why we ignored our Reservation? We sat @ Table C26/1 Our Server was 30 Daniel & our check# 8079

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years because it is convenient to Lincoln Center, but it is very pricey.

What a waste of time and money. We came on time for our Opentable booked reservation. David sat us at a terrible table in the back of an empty dining room directly next to the kitchen. It took Michael our waiter over twenty minutes to come over to our able and bring water. Bread was brought only when we said other tables that were seated after us had gotten bread and water and their orders taken. Another manager was called over and we told him we were not happy. I have been to Cafe Fiorello many times. This was really a disappointment. We had the last table by the rest room entrance. A big column in front of use so I guess the waiters just forgot about us. The service was awful. The waiter kept calling me "dear" after I requested that he stop. I had to keep on getting up from the table to find a waiter. The whole thing experience was very unpleasant. The food was not very good and the only thing I would recommend are the fried artichokes! And my cosmo filled 3/4 of the glass for $16... read more

Although this venue has been a long time favorite of mine, the level of disappointment with regard to my last visit is huge. I prefer bar seating. I was quite clear about that is OpenTable reservation AS WELL when I rec'd a confirmation call. 2 of them actually, and his demeanor is worthy of another negative review... Well, what we got was a table stuffed into a corner and not the requested OR CONFIRMED bar seating. Ok, you move on and accept it. I had the worst visit to your restaurant ever. Service was poor, food came out late and staggered so that nothing could be eaten together. Waitress had no interest in our meal and the meal was served as such. Coffee was sent back only to sit and wait another 10-15 minutes for a fresh cup which was served room temperature. So sad to report, we have enjoyed many good meals but at this point I would not recommend. We ordered the appetizer plate which were already prepared and on the bar. It took a half hour for us to get it. Then 15 minutes to find the waitress and ask for check. We were on our way to the theater. We got the check and gave our credit cards and another 15 minutes elapsed and we went hunting for the waitress who said their computer was down. Not pleasant. My sister has dined there before and everything was fine. But not this time. Made the curtain with no time to spare.
