My colleague and I always dine at Fiorello's before the ballet; unfortunately the service for our last two dinners was terrible! We waited a full 45 minutes before our waiter asked what we might want to order(!) and found it almost equally difficult to get the bill. Since we had scheduled lots of time, we didn't panic but were quite put off by this unusually bad service. Sorry, Fiorello's - please try harder next time!
Service was terrible! I can see why they have empty tables.
Very limited menu. service was slow. No Kahlua at bar. No white sause for pasta--- in other words--no alfredo sauce. all sauces were tomato based... difficult if one has acid reflux.
Service was awful. Waited 20 minutes for drinks and food order to be taken. Asked if we wanted bread, said yes. Never received it. Received our entrees before our appetizers. Too many people pre theatre for them to handle efficiently.
After years of eating at Fiorello's, I had moved further north and so hadn't been there in awhile. I just want to say I am absolutely appalled at how dirty the place has become. It is so filthy in there, it feels like an old run down diner. The walls and the floors and the specially the bathroom was just disgusting. This is a shame and totally unacceptable due to the fact that the food is very good. Don't ever go there as a single woman! Originally they tried to place me on the crummiest table - but changed it when I complained. Then I just sat there waiting for a waiter to come by. There were plenty of them standing around, and I asked to place my order several times but nobody felt responsible for my table (or was it me, being by myself?) Service was unbelievably bad. Our coffee came right away but our food came 40 minutes later. We had to ask five times for our juice, 3 times for butter. The food was disappointing, mediocre quality especially at this price. Avoid!
We had a reservation,arrived on time ,we were given the worst table in the restaurant, we refused it and were offered a " miniature " table next to the service door in the front,we asked for a change and were told " so what do you want"?. We left and tried to make a reservation at another restaurant and Open Table didn't allow us to do it . So we called Chimichurri East. Got a table and had a wonderful dinner. We have been patrons of Fiorelo for more than 20 years, clearly the place has changed and not for the better.
Woefully slow service. Brusque service to the point of rudeness. Cold food that was supposed to be hot. Food that contained remnants of paper towel. Altogether awful!
