What's happened? They have remodelled the interior and destroyed the bustling atmosphere. The antipasti - always excellent and a very wide selection - are disappointing. And the place was almost empty pre-theatre last night. The place always used to be packed. Really disappointing
Service was very disappointing. Initially our waiter was attentive, brought the drinks, bread and salad out, but our main course (pizza to share) was terribly slow. There was no explanation or apology which can lead to frustration. The food was delicious once it arrived but we had to take it to go unfortunately, which does taint one's dining experience.
We went for Easter , hoping to have a special meal . The food was mediocre , the coffee not very good , and no possibility to even order toast . No dressing on the dry salad that came with the eggs . Total waste of money . Nice outdoor atmosphere , but that's it .
The service was terrible. Our server did not come to take our order for more than 15 minutes. She brought us our food, but she never brought us our drinks ( coffee and ice tea) until much later! My 8-y-o was thirsty through the whole meal. Even though breads and corn muffins are included in the meal and should be brought first thing, ours were never brought to us, until I reminded our server that we were entitled to them just like everybody else in the restaurant. Have eaten in the front room at Fiorello's many times and enjoyed it. This visit, our horrible seating and the outrageously poor service torpedoed the place for me. They sat us not in front but in the back - looks like a steakhouse w/big, dark booths - right next to the kitchen door, with waiters and staff hurrying to and fro, but not one of them acknowledging us, not even with water. Terrible service..waitress had a bad attitude. They rushed us out.
The worst service - hostess needs to be in a different industry she provided no sense of customer service. Manager was excellent even the bus boy was attentive . She deserves a negative score as she is a haphazard for such a good food venue
We had a terrible waitress - when the food came out it was cold - excessive wait for everything. We actually had to ask a different waitress to bring oil for the bread, after asking our own waitress. We had a nice table, but that was the only good thing.
We went there on our last trip and loved it, so we decided to go back. I made a reservation and when we got there, we were seated at a table in the bar area. There were plenty of tables open in the main restaurant, so I don't know why we were seated there. The waiter had tables in the main dining room and us. We were not attended to very well.
