much too noisy and busy with a focus on turning the table. Food was just adequate and service was unacceptable. Had to flag down the waiter more than once to speak with him.
This was my second time dining there in the past three weeks and both times they had run out of the entree I ordered. For a 7:30 reservation, that is pretty pathetic.
Gave us the worst table in the room right next to the entrance/exit to kitchen despite the OPen Table reservation; request for a booth or another table was denied. Overcrowded, chairs bumping into each other tables were so close. Wait, service staff crowding in/out of kitchen and bumping into our chairs. Dining with 2 children, ages 3,8. No children's menu. Pizza arrived quickly, but other ordered items took forever. Waiter unilaterally decided not to order the rest of our food until pizza had been finished delaying our enti... read more
I recently came to this restaurant during Hurricane Irene weekend. Our waitress told us that pizza and pasta was off limits from ordering, which was not true as we saw other customers eating pizza that they had ordered and another waiter later confirmed that we could order pizza or pasta, but it would take a bit longer. Our waitress had left our table after giving us the menus, but after 20 minutes she still hadn't returned to take our order and we ended up leaving.
ordered the Bronzino and it had bones in it. Perhaps being the holiday weekend they were not at there best. Have dined there before and it was much better.
Did not like--Limited and very out of site prices on menu!!!
Unfriendly employees and overpriced deserts in a very crowded noisy restaurant!
This restaurant is a tourist trap. There was nothing redeemable about this place. The food was way below par. We all wanted to send our meals back(appetizer, salad, pasta and entre) but were too embarassed to do so and we were going to the theater across the street and did not have time. I havent had a worst meal in years. The only thing that was decent(just ok) was a flat crusted pizza for $34. Expensive for a sub quality experience.
I am giving a poor rating due to the incredibly bad price vs. value ratio. This restaurant has gotten out of control with its prices. $28 for a basic margherita pizza is a joke. Everything is overpriced. Not one item on the entire menu is priced appropriately. I used to love the artichokes alla giudea, but they were horrible. They were tough and rubbery. This restaurant has become a tourist trap in my opinion.
