Not worth the price anymore......food was awful, service was terrible and the prices were outrageous. Used to be a great place in the lincoln center area.
Glorified, overpriced, diner-style Italian food.
Not the best place to go for brunch...food very mediocre and expensive, though not surprising given the area. What was surprising was food quality - not there. Would not go again for brunch.
The first wine we selected was bad. So we had to wait for a second bottle. That too was bad and still we waited. finally got a nice bottle. The waitor said one food item was not available and brought the wrong plate. Then said it was available and brought the correct dish while we had been served our dinner almost 10 minutes before the one with wrong dish. I made reservations but never was seated. When we walked in there had to 30 people waiting. We were told it would only be 5 minutes until we were seated..but people who were ahead of us were told the same thing. After waiting 15 minutes..in a crowded noisy crammed area..we left and at the restaurant. Passing out flutes of champagne to make people forget they are waiting doesn't cut it! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!
Average food. Basic service.
I hadn't been here in a few years. The food was tasteless. I was very disappointed and embarrassed that I had taken people here. It won't happen again!
Too expensive for lunch; limited menu w/only expensive dinner items
Arrived on time for 6:15 reservation on Friday. Small reception area was packed with people. Checked in the host who said table would be ready in just a few minutes. Waited in an uncomfortable crowded area for 15 minutes, while other guests arrived and were seated immediately. After two parties of two came in after we did and were seated, I informed the host that we were still waiting and he asked our name again and then finally seated us.
