Is it so hard to provide a quote by end of day as promised so I can get my car fixed? Every time I call which is 3 times now they send me to Ben's line who does not like to follow through. What is the point of taking time out of my day to drive to this establishment to be told this would just be for a quote and to not even get said quote. I will be going to a different place this is ridiculous.
After having my truck for 3 months with seemingly simple repairs, I am still having issues with part installations. There are several issues, the mess first of all, wow. Disgusting how they treat our vehicles. Guess I'm not surprised by how the shop looks. After being walked down to my truck to see if after 2 months of them having it, I was in disbelief of the condition of the shop. Sean was great as an employee, I believe he means well. However, I had my truck in your guys possession for 3 1/2 weeks for a rear end that was not significant enough to have that time worked on. I don't want to jump to assumptions thinking that maybe you guys wanted to squeeze as much as money for storage fees from the other partys insurance company but no reason to have my truck for that long, I know guys that would have had it done in 2 weeks like it was originally supposed to be done. After being a customer with Toyota for over 13 years, I've come to expect something out of them as a business. Over this time I've had two vehicles enter Camelback Collision on as many cases. After being a customer there for over a decade, I can tell you quite easily, a body shop is in the bowels of Hades right now! The receptionist was rude, on the phone, and in person! gave me the runaround over five weeks. scheduled two appointments, the first one the problem was explained to Ben. then a followup appointment for work was made. when I went in at the appointment time, they said I was not on the schedule. then I was asked to wait. Ben came out and we discussed the problem again. he said they could not do the work because it was "mechanical". what a load of BS! do not waste your time at this place full of incompetent and lying people.
I had to have a piece of trim on the top of my windshield put back onto my vehicle. I stopped in to have them look at it and advise me on time and cost and had to make another appointment and come back almost a month later for an estimate then come back again to have them perform the work. Each time I had to fill out a paper even though this WAS NOT AN INSURANCE CLAIM!!! NOW the trim has blown off my vehicle onto the freeway and cannot be used and I needed to buy a new one. Geico sent me here as the "express" option. This is laughable because I had my original estimate in October and here we are still waiting to be called back. I've called multiple times and even shown up on site to speak to Junior my advisor. As other reviews have said, he does not leave voicemails or callback no matter how many times the super sweet receptionist says he will. Do what you can to avoid this collision shop. Called in to schedule a time I could bring my vehicle in for an estimate on repairs needed, and was condescendingly spoken to by two different people as they passed me back and forth on the call because they didn't know how to address my situation through an insurance claim. That, coupled with the fact that they're a month out to take a look at my vehicle, makes this place a waste of anyone's time. That's a month to simply take a look -- not to begin any repairs.
