Battery light was on. Service dept advised me that the alternator was functioning properly. Within the week I was stranded with a dead battery. Went to a different mechanic. Replaced alternator. Car works great!

Vehicle was scheduled for regular maintenance. The engine was filthy, didn't even look like it was touched. Also found air inlet was missing all bolts necessary to secure it in place. Had to take vehicle back to service center for fix and explanation of why engine left untouched.
False information was presented to me about what was actually going on with my vehicle. I also had an oil change at this dealership 1.5 months prior, which most likely did not occur since I was not told at this time my vehicle was leaking oil and there was never any oil underneath my car, yet now I have an oil leak (which I did not as I took it to another shop), but it was magically "missed" during my oil change at VW Camelback dealership. I requested a check engine light diagnostic and was told nothing was wrong with my veh... read more

Our team had found that this was a new leak that was not present at your previous appointment. We have provided pictures and an explanation of our findings. Leaks are common especially the further a vehicle ages past 100,000 miles. After buying a CPO outback I sent my girlfriend in to see the service department because the AC was malfunctioning. She drove an hour and a half just to have the service tech sit with her for less than a minute in the car and tell her that the vent wasn't blowing air because of "physics" and that it was fine and proceeded to tell her to leave. The entire dealership has been dismissive since the moment we bought the car and all we want is preexisting problems fixed.

We're more than happy to go over our findings again, please reach out to Russ Schwartzman, Service Director, at 602-847-8536 at your earliest convenience to discuss this further.
Did what they could to get money, out of my wallet. Not what I asked them to do, just what they could do for $1000. Won't be back

Their technicians are novice. Each time have left with problems I would not recommend camelback Volkswagen ! And I will never go back They lost my Trust and my business. The last visit was the final straw The front desk guys are nice but the service technicians do not belong in a dealership. Poor quality overall and so not know what they are doing. Someone needs to look into their service department.

The people there dont even know how to do an oil change. They left a loose drain bolt and it was leaking oil. When i took it back for them to fix it they didn't even clean the oil that had spilled underneath the car. Do not trust them.

Brought my Atlas in for a oil change car running perfectly fine before I came in and 30 minutes after I leave the EPC light comes on.. call and 4 messages 2 with the service guy Randy and 2 with the service manager.. Never received a call back from Randy and the service finally called back a week later.. Highly disappointed with Camelback Volkswagen.. I found it very peculiar that while there getting the oil change the not even 10 minutes in a sale person call's talking about trading my car in. And this is not the first time... read more
