I see I am the first one having a negative review. Happy that most of you had a pleasant experience. But nevertheless I had a complete bad experience working with sales. Zaktek paint and interior warranty was slipped into our financing (for our 10 year old used car) without telling us it was optional. The paperwork has a section (below the area we were instructed to sign) that says "Zaktek is NOT a requirement for the purchase of this vehicle." This was not communicated or shown to us. When we spoke to the finance manager about it the following business day, he said that all of their cars had this warranty and it was not optional and we would have to pay for it regardless. Not my favorite of reps. Pushy and rude via emails. Told him I what I wanted, said that I was making an out of state purchase. Wanted to give him my business but he wouldn't produce car sheets, just kept saying to come down.
Truly has a very bad financial service. Protect and take care you money . VW is giving to us(Martin) a terrible service. 5 months later they want to get more money of my new leasing car. Buying a Subaru Crosstrek Overall the process was better than many I have completed over the past 50 years. The sales team (Tim and Ivan) was terrific and enjoyed working with them both. Liars and thieves They had my car for over 2 months guessing as to what was wrong. Sent me home with it after one month and it had the same issue. Limped it back in and they took another month to screw around with it. Charged 1200.00 for a transmission wire harness. Said it was fixed. Drove it off the lot and it stalled out in front of the dealership. Almost died as this was cutting across traffic on a left turn. A cop was there and stopped traffic and helped me push it back in. Rude and Unprofessional I am currently leasing a Jetta and I was called numerous times by Camelback Volkswagon to return my lease early. I came in to replace my driver side doorhandle that has been cutting my fingers and making me bleed. The damage to the metal on the doorhandle which was cutting me was not caused from me being careless, it was due to normal wear and tear from a hand opening the door over 2 years and probably a fault in the manufacturing of that specific doorhandle. Dishonest Dealer The Camelback VW dealer is extremely dishonest. After negotiating for half a day and agreeing on a price the finance manager (Mr. Dennis) dishonored the deal and continued to be dishonest with us telling us that it was their mistake on the price they agreed upon and they would not be honoring the sale.
