Always short staff. Call bells are ignored and the Nurses never help the CNA's. People are there because they need help.

Terrible care. Don't answer call lights. Mom had dried up food around her mouth everytime. No fluids, bedside table was always by the window instead of within reach of patient. She went there for rehab contacted Covid. Unbelievable. We had to demand she be sent to a hospital.

I was in this facility five years ago after I suffered a bad car accident due to a drunk driver. UMC should have sent me to a hospital instead, with a broken neck, broken back, broken ribs, etc. I laid in bed here for a month. I wore a neck brace and a back brace, both in the wrong position. The worst part was that at night for three nights I was sufferig in pain and finally after 45 minutes after pushing on my call button with no response, I texted my three children. I told my daughter I couldn't stand the pain in my legs. ... read more

My heart is broken, about a month ago my 83 year old Mother was admitted to the hospital due to several health issues such as diabetes & heart, then was discharged to do physical therapy at "Canyon Vista" on medical center nursing home because she was too weak to walk & tested positive for C-diff which she might have caught at hospital or there. My Mom doesn't speak English & told us one of the nurses came in there yelling then slapped my Mom hard in the face! I was so upset that my helpless Mom had been treated this way d... read more

Awful care of my Father. This is the worst rehab in Las Vegas. I would never let a loved one go here ever again. My Dad was left in bed every day, all day. My Dad was much weaker after this facility and his edema was worse too(obviously) . The staff (terrible LPNs) flat, uncaring rude. Never again!

I was transferred to this facility, on 9/07/22, after having major emergency surgery. If I could give this facility a ZERO I would! I cant 12 days in this facility. I was unable to get out of bed on my own for a few days. I had an IV attached to me. I can't believe this place is still listed as an approved provider on my medicare!! I was in this facility until approx 11 AM on September 24th! I was NEVER given a sponge bath or a shower or my hair washed! No on even mentioned this until I brought it up. When I told t... read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I don't recommend this place to anyone. My father was there for rehab and they neglected him, they are always short staffed. My father got a bed sore from this place. His call light would be on for 45 mins- 60 mins. He was supposed to get therapy, his therapist would come in for only 10 mins a day. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE! They sent my father home when he wasn't ready and he died the next day.

Horrible if I could give zero I would. Recently my father stayed at canyon vista and I had to pick my father up from his dialysis center because he told me that the staff there hit him. My father had stayed at other rehabs before and usually I'm the one with a problem. My father is a easy patient. He never complains he can barely hear or see. And is a amputee. I would never allow my loved ones to go here again.

Horrible..... just let my 92 year old mother sit in her room and rot. She's blind and needed help cutting up her food. No they didn't do that. They had her table with her water on it away from the bed so she couldn't drink any. They would wheel her into physical therapy and leave her there then wheel her back. That was her PT. Then one day she called me crying that she was going to die and they sent her out to Summerlin Hospital for a mental evaluation. Turns out, she had sepsis and was severely dehydrated. Her blood press... read more
