I wrote a review about the GREAT care that I received from the nurses and the physical therapy team. I maintain that review. Unfortunately, everything else is ABYSMAL. It is nearly impossible to get someone to either answer the phone or e-mail. Even if you eventually reach Canyon Vista, NO voice mail is ever returned. My insurance also tried to contact them but gave up after a while. Nobody answered for them either. Al my bills were mixed up between what they tried to charge Medicare or my insurance. Type of care, care, quality, staff was horrible, during my four weeks there I think I had four physical therapy session and that was it. It told me to stand up and sit down for my exercise. It was a joke and they left me on a Porta potty for two hours. There's so much I could say about this place. It is horrible. Never take a loved one there.

This place is the absolute worst! My father was in this facility for almost two months before I decided to take him home to Pass away. They stated they were taking him to therapy but they were not and then my dad contracted Covid and they moved him to another section of the wing where they only checked on him once in a while and when his meals were delivered they just dropped the food on the tray knowing he needed help unwrapping the clear plastic over the tray and no one helped so my father hardly ate and ended up losing mo... read more

Really No stars at all! Too long to write! The level of incompetence of informing family is terrifying!!!! My blood is boiling! I prayed to God the reviews were wrong but they're spot on! The 5 stars have to be fake! I'm not blasting I'm telling from even my experience of her being there just for the last 48 hours!!! They call me not to give info... but to just tell me she fell again. Where do I begin? We were given 3 options by Mountain View Hospital for my mom to go to post-acute rehab following an ER visit. Out of the 3 options covered by Medicare this facility had the best reviews according to the link they sent. My mom checked in 110 lbs checked out 80 lbs within 60 days. She immediately got COVID within the 1st week of arriving. She was quarantined for 3 weeks as she kept testing positive. During quarantine she did not receive any PT/OT. This place is horrible. They almost killed my brother by not giving him his medications and letting him lay in his feces. His back got fully infected after his back surgery due to their negligence. He had to be taken back to the hospital and have 3 more surgeries due to infection and parasites in his back. We were told another week and he would have died. This place is a joke and a hell hole...nursing care is subpar...food is a ridiculous joke and administrative staff is non existent!! Someone on staff stole something from my husband and after my first review ( which I believe they may have deleted) I got a call from Shawn/Sean who was in their marketing dept. my roommate was there to receive physical therapy. they wouldn't let her out of bed for 10 days then made her sit in a wheelchair for 10 hours a day without getting her out. their definition of physical therapy was 5 minutes a day and the rest sitting in a wheelchair alone. it was like a prison. she left worse than when she went in. don't let them fool you with a fancy lobby or promises of physical rehabilitation. it's all about the money they can bilk Medicare out of.

Very short staff , hard to get a hold of anyone when you call. There was some nice nurses who cared but just very hard to get a hold of someone to ask anything or get information
