The 99% of satisfied families (990 of 1,000), of the patients that are rehabilitated to a successful return home, do not make time for a review. The Las Vegas Canyon Vista Post-Acute "teamwork" of licensed "care givers" is Excellent! I visited my Dad four times per week during his three weeks of care and recovery from seizures. Please note that this is a comparative review amongst other facilities that I have researched in my mother's insurance network. My mom had 40% of her foot amputated and needs PT, medication, and assistance with mobility, restroom assistance, showering, etc. Here we go. 5 (*****) Stars for Nurse Assistants: They are spread thin amongst 120 patients and they do their job thoroughly and in a timely matter considering their responsibility. I was a patient at Canyon Vista. I found the care exceptional. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the care. Some of the staff were not so nice, but that was the exception rather than the rule.

My parent is currently receiving care here and I am posting this review to assure those looking for a rehab facility that this is a good place to go to in my opinion. I am posting four stars only because his stay is not finished. He has been here about 10 days and I have been at his bedside daily to observe. This is a clean and modern building. My grandmother was a patient here and I can not express how grateful I am to have met some r genuine people. I read the reviews before my Nana was admitted here and I was uncertain that this place was a right place for her to rehabilitate. Now that she is well with the help of the rehab and nursing team at Canyon Vista she is able to do so much more then we predicted. I want to thank the Canyon Vista Staff for their time and dedication!!!

The facility is very clean and on the new side. Staff is friendly but overwhelmed and busy. Try to be there for your loved one to help the staff figure out his/her needs in the beginning. Physical therapy is good

My father, began his long-term stay at Canyon Vista on his 71st birthday, May 14, 2016. He unfortunate recently passed away on October 20, 2016 at Canyon Vista. This review will only include the positive areas that trump everything else. I was not satisfied with a few things but nothing that out weighed the entire stay. My dad, J. Baldinger, entered Canyon Vista on Monday, July 25th 2016. During my visit from July 25th until July 27th, I had a chance to meet a few staff members such as Jeannie the Food Service Director, LaDonda, the dietitian, Dr Rodriquez MD, Casey, the speech therapist, Gwendolyn and Haty, the nurse and others and I am sooooo impressed and grateful with the quality of care for my Dad. My stay there was above average with bumps along the road. I feel the place is very new and staff will rectify the problems/kinks within a few years or so. As for the nurses, I had many good LVN's and CNA's. One LVN that stood out to me was Christine. She was a real professional and a sweetheart too.
