6352 Medical Center St, Las Vegas, NV, 89148, United States
Get directionsThe facility is very clean and on the new side. Staff is friendly but overwhelmed and busy. Try to be there for your loved one to help the staff figure out his/her needs in the beginning. Physical therapy is good
My father, began his long-term stay at Canyon Vista on his 71st birthday, May 14, 2016. He unfortunate recently passed away on October 20, 2016 at Canyon Vista. This review will only include the positive areas that trump everything else. I was not satisfied with a few things but nothing that out weighed the entire stay. Where do I begin this facility first off is immaculate from top to bottom there is absolutely no smell which is a great thing, the grounds are always spotless. This was the best location in Las Vegas for my... read more
My dad, J. Baldinger, entered Canyon Vista on Monday, July 25th 2016. During my visit from July 25th until July 27th, I had a chance to meet a few staff members such as Jeannie the Food Service Director, LaDonda, the dietitian, Dr Rodriquez MD, Casey, the speech therapist, Gwendolyn and Haty, the nurse and others and I am sooooo impressed and grateful with the quality of care for my Dad. I also appreciate that when I called to inquire about his condition, if a nurse was unable to speak, someone called me back to hear my con... read more
My stay there was above average with bumps along the road. I feel the place is very new and staff will rectify the problems/kinks within a few years or so. As for the nurses, I had many good LVN's and CNA's. One LVN that stood out to me was Christine. She was a real professional and a sweetheart too. She really cared at helping me out during the tough times. As for the CNA's, there were some wonderful ones that stood out: A wonderful duo by the names of Jerome and April were amazing. You could not find a better team t... read more
I thought long and hard before writing this review. In general I don't post negative reviews and try to focus on the positive, but after 2 weeks here we were given 24 hours to move our 94 year old immobile mother out of the facility or pay $600/day. I'm not complaining about that so much as the lack of notice, the lack of explanation on what our options were and the utter lack of concern about the stress surrounding all of it. They should know more about how the process works than I do - and they either don't, or don't car... read more
zero stars if I could!!! If you love your loved one at all, do NOT subject them to this hellhole. They start off ok, but the longer you are there, the more and more neglectful they become. My dad was sent to this Pitt of Hell after 3 weeks in the hospital with a wound to his arm after a fall. By the end of the third week, he was begging to be taken from there. The nurses were mostly lazy and rude. The case worker Jonna was awful! The director never came to talk to us, even after we expressed our displeasure. Just a general... read more
This by far is the worst care I ever had , it's a joke, 99 percent of the workers are rude ,crude and are absolutely mean to patients. I have been called racist names i have been left dirty and pissie . there staff won't answer cLl lights .more then twice they ignored me for over an hour. I hope the state goes on and cleans out the bad ppl there ,I know I'm making a call to the government. JAX.

My wife was in Canyon Vista rehab for just under a month following a referral after a hospital stay. According to Canyon Vista case management, she was discharged on the last day that insurance would pay. We were assured that her entire stay was covered by her insurance. Approximately two weeks later, we received a bill from Canyon Vista for over $1,700. Less than a week after the date on the bill, they sent a letter stating that the account was "seriously delinquent" and threatening collection action. Her insurance company ... read more
