If I could give a 0 stars I would. It's long but worth reading please. My 90 yr old dad was transferred to this facility from the hospital on 01/26/26 after having what I was told was a small stroke. When he left the hospital, my dad was sitting up talking, using his cell phone, responding to questions, walking around his hospital room. In Nevada since our health system is sub par we need faculties like this. Its's called a $CASH COW$ FACILTY where you get dumped of after being in a hospital where you MAY NEED physical therapy. I didn't and I was held against my will for 5 days! They make $$$ doing this and GHOSTED ME after learning I was not supposed to be there. I walked out om my own no one in sight LOL FREEDOM AVOID THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE

STAY AWAY. No hot water in over a week. Second night waited 23 min to get help to bathroom, last night 45 min. Left with UTI infection. No rehab given. Had me lift weights with torn rotator. Room cleaned 1 time and bedsheets changed 1 time all in one a week. Ice locked up in closet in a cooler. Wound care incompetent. Stitches were dissolvable and said doc needed to take out. They wanted to take bandages off back after 4 days. I said no and get out. This was 2 surgeries to replace discs with plates put in the back... read more

Such an unresponsive uncaring staff. They hear nothing. Respond to nothing. Zombies.. Day or night.

This place provides subpar care, including terrible food, unreliable service, and less than adequate care. I don't know if it is because they are understaffed or if the staff is under qualified but patients have unreasonably been dropped, have bedsores, have gone from no insulin use to daily insulin use and have seen plateau or regression under their care.

If I could rate this facility "0" I would. The staff is nonexistent and most, not all, are insensitive and lack empathy for the family. My father asked the case manager to send her to the hospital because she medically was not doing well. She came for physical therapy but could not move, talk, and slept most of the day. She stopped eating and became non responsive. There was no physical therapy for a long time. The case manager said if she went to the hospital, they would send her back to Canyon and ignored my dad's request ... read more

I was taken to this facility after having a knee revision. I was moved there on a Saturday evening. After getting settled in, I was told I would be moved to another room the next day. No problem. I was then moved to another room down the hall. In the room next door, a man held continually about everything (more pain meds) and how he wanted out of there.
