Very un responsive, overcharged fir repairs on my sons car, then everything they worked on failed a few months later and they tried to shirk responsibility. Then gave us a laundry list of other items they said needed repair, +$2k. Endless voicemails and no responses.
If I could give ZERO I would. Nothing but horrible service every time I come in, this time I scheduled my Camaro for an oil change and until I got there they informed me they didn't even have the oil to do my oil change when they could've simply called me to let me know. Service manager was to resolve and issue I've had with my free oil changes as well and he has yet to call me to discuss any resolution. Don't go there now. It's sucks cause I get free oil changes, but we're in stage five and these service department dudes are just walking up on you without a mask and getting right in your face. Guess I'll avoid free oil changes for now.
I took my truck to get the air bag replaced on a safety recall. When I drove off the lot, after they had finished the air bag replacement, a loud chiming alarm went off that the oil pressure had dropped and a message directed me to turn off the engine. Terrible customer service. Scheduled an appointment with Isiah. drive and hour only to be told the vehicle we were discussing was sold and he had overbooked his time. Complete waste of time.
Absolutely horrible. Bought a used car thinking the inspection was done as they said. Drove it home, and safety mechanical issues showed up. I had the car checked by a third party and got the quote. Tried speaking to this dealership about the safety issue and now they have refused to accept my calls (out of state customer). Stay FAR away from Capitol Chevrolet. They mark up their pricing by 100 - 1000% in the service department. I went for EGR issue 11/22 and on 12/1 pick up my car to a $1,682 price tag. The next hour after leaving the same diagnostic codes come back on as if the problem was never even fixed (It wasn't). I take it in immediately the next morning only to get told it's another part on the EGR that they 'thought' was OK. They wanted me to shell out another $1,200 dollars. I wish if I can give them 0 star. On Oct 12, 2021, I had an appointment with Capital Chevrolet to do a recall service on my 2016 Chevy Tahoe. I picked up my vehicle. I drove to a restaurant and could not lock the driver's side door. I noticed there is a damage to the driver's side door panel. I drove back to Capital Chevrolet, and I asked Hal what happened. Just thought I'd share my experience. I'm usually not the kind of person to do this, but this time it feels worth it. I've been shopping at many dealerships in many cities for the past month since I unfortunately totalled my truck.
