I purchased a policy for my son on Jan 8 with Carchex because of their BBB A+ rating and endorsements. I decided to go with a different company that offered a lot of additional maintenance benefits in addition to the mechanical breakdown. I was dreading calling Carchex since I had read many reviews where people had problems when they tried to cancel. I spoke to Drew Chiodo and he was very pleasant and professional. I have terrible experience with Carchex and I feel that they owe me money and an apology. They made it very, very hard on me and they basically messed up things from the start so once I needed to use my insurance, I couldn't because they put wrong mileage. Their mistakes: â?¢ their person put a wrong (way higher) mileage on my contract which I couldn't know because they tell you to accept contract over the phone. Bought an extended warranty. On October 7 2020, Carchex received a complete packet from me about cancellation and told me I would be receiving a refund in 45-60 days. Here it is December 23 2020, and I still have not received a refund. They are great at taking your money in seconds, but when it comes to refunding it they are horrible. This needs to be settled, one way or another.

Don't do business with carchex...save yourself time energy and money...they violated my cusumer rights and they treat you like your on trial with your issues..they lied about the package just to get the sale.and then once the sale is done..and an issue arises thats not covered after they said it will be covered...then they throw this bogus sample contract on you..when its not an official contract and because in order for it to be. I had Carchex warranty with top coverage. I filed a claim when my shock/strut failed. Carckex covers strut but not shock. Although Mercedes dealer said that it was my strut that failed, Carchex called it shock and they did not want to pay for the repair. After few days of complains, they decided to make a partial payment. I canceled my contract with them and took over a month to get back my refund.

Seemed good now Ive cancelled my warranty after 4 days fighting to get my money back getting a run around. Said i had to respond to a email but they dont send a email called twice now smh

First of all, read the "5 star" reviews carefully. They don't talk about satisfaction with warranty COVERAGE. They talk about how wonderful the BUYING EXPERIENCE was! Yeah...my buying experience was great, too. Even negotiated a "discount." Lucky me... Carchex just SELLS you the warranty. In my case it was serviced by ********** (the name is probably gonna be blocked out by BBB). THEY WILL NOT PAY LABOR COST AT THE DEALER THAT IS REPARING MY CAR ALSO WONT PAY FOR NUTS AND BOLTS ?????????? THIS CONTRACT IS THOUGH ENDURACE WARRANTY NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!

After checking online for other warranty companies, I decided to go with Carchex for my son's vehicle. We purchased a 2003 Honda Accord LX and immediately added an extended warranty for him. As soon as we filed a claim, the adjuster called the Honda Dealership back and declined to pay for the work necessary by claiming the issues were pre-existing. Something told me this company was a scam. I even tried to contact a supervisor or the adjuster and keep getting the run around. No adjuster went to the dealership, they just stam... read more
