Responsibilities:

This role reports to the Director of Customer Marketing and focuses on marketing to existing customers, as well as owning and leading how Birdeye is portrayed on third-party review sites such as G2, Google Capterra and others. 

Manages Birdeye review programs on sites such as G2, Google, Capterra, Facebook, TrustRadius, Software Advice and others. Activities include:

  • Solicits ongoing reviews from happy customers
  • Responds quickly to all reviews, both positive and negative
  • Tags reviews in dashboard
  • Works to convert detractors into promoters
  • Passes on "cons" to product management and marketing team
  • Keep review sites updated with newest screenshots, messaging, etc

Leads customer referral program at Birdeye by driving the effort to generate referrals from happy customers and thought leaders. Activities include:

  • Marketing-driven customer referrals 
  • Sales-driven customer referrals
  • Managing tools that everyone uses to generate referrals
  • Reporting for deals generated from referrals 
  • Working with Director of Customer Marketing to identify thought leaders who will do podcasts and webinars with us

Leads the coordination and scheduling of customer interviews that helps Birdeye to understand customer pain points, needs and current levels of satisfaction. Works closely with product marketing to design a well-run program that allows Birdeye to know and understand its customers, and, when possible, conducts scripted interviews on their own


Other general customer marketing programs, tasks and projects as needed
