About the Role

Birdeye is expanding its ecosystem of technology partners, and we’re looking for a strategic, product-savvy partnerships leader to drive it. In this role, you will source, evaluate, and secure new API-based integration partnerships with CRMs, EHRs, POS platforms that automate workflows for mutual customers, to data integrations that support our products. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and BD teams to prioritize integrations that fill gaps in our portfolio, enhance customer value, and strengthen Birdeye’s competitive advantage. From prospecting to negotiation to launch, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of each partnership, and own partner acquisition goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, research, and prioritize high-value technology partners that align with Birdeye’s integration strategy.
  • Pursue technology partners that automate outputs for mutual customers through integrations CRMs, EHRs, POS platforms, to data integrations with online publishers that enhance our products. 
  • Lead full-cycle partner acquisition: outreach, relationship building, pitch development, business case creation, and deal negotiation.
  • Lead renewals, recertifications, and deeper integrations with existing technology partners. 
  • Own quarterly goals based on new partners signed and onboarded.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to evaluate technical requirements, resource needs, and feasibility of potential integrations.
  • Build the internal business justification for new integrations, including market landscape, customer demand, product gaps, and strategic impact.
  • Manage deal execution, including legal reviews, contract negotiations, data-sharing terms, and integration scope alignment.
  • Oversee the transition from signed deal to integration build, coordinating across Product, Engineering, and partner technical teams.
  • Ensure newly launched integrations are successfully enabled, onboarded, and jointly brought to market with strong positioning.
  • Track performance and adoption of integrations, identifying opportunities for optimization and expansion.

requirements

  •  5+ years of experience in technology partnerships, product partnerships, API integrations, business development, or ecosystem strategy.
  • 5+ years experience in SaaS.  Ideally martech or industries adjacent to Birdeye.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and signing integration partnerships with SaaS platforms (CRMs, EHRs, POS systems, martech tools, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of API-based workflows, data sharing, and system-to-system integrations.
  • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams to evaluate and scope technical requirements.
  • Proven negotiation skills and comfort handling contracts, data agreements, and commercial terms.
  • Ability to independently research markets, identify ecosystem gaps, and create actionable partner strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment from discovery through launch.
  • Strong communication skills, both technical and business-oriented, with the ability to present persuasively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and motivated to build partnerships from the ground up.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment.
