What You'll Do:

Reporting to the VP of Sales Enablement, the Sales Enablement Manager – Instructional Design will be responsible for leading the creation of world-class hybrid learning programs that align learning and performance strategies. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working in sales enablement and/or SaaS sales, as well as have a deep understanding of adult learning methodologies and direct experience with e-learning authoring and development tools. We are looking for an excellent presenter capable of developing and delivering engaging and memorable in-person and on-demand training. In this role, you will work directly with peers on the enablement team, sales leaders, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to strategize the design and management of on-demand learning solutions for sales and channel organizations. You’ll be responsible for helping design and automate role-based e-learning courses and curriculum; developing the tools, templates, and training materials that help our Enablement team create better quality self-paced learning experiences for all employees; and bringing your expertise to a team of passionate enablers and sales professionals to build a comprehensive learning catalog to up-skill sales teams globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessment and review instructional design standards
  • Develop standards for the development and deployment of online courses and curriculum for a variety of Sales roles
  • Design and develop written, video, and interactive content for self-service and instructor-led, tailored delivery for onboarding, learning paths and certifications by role
  • Design instruction that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners
  • Deeply empathize with the challenges sellers face and to turn those challenges into opportunities to create a delightful learning experience
  • Select and use a variety of techniques to define and sequence the instructional content and strategies
  • Evaluate and assess instruction and its impact on learners and the business and provide recommendations

requirements

  • 2-4 years experience in sales enablement, direct sales, or sales-supporting role in a SaaS company
  • 2-4 years of Instructional Design and Project Management experience across a variety of delivery channels (blended, F2F, eLearning, mobile, etc.)
  • Experience translating complex concepts into an easy to understand and digestible format
  • Executive presence – confidence and ability to form strong relationships with stakeholders
  • You're comfortable with instructional design methodologies and familiar with common tools for design, authoring, video creation, and training delivery
  • You know which protocols to use to ensure that people learn effectively
  • You know exactly how to make a learning experience clear and concise
  • You're naturally curious, love learning new things, and are dedicated in sharing knowledge with others
  • You possess a strong sense of urgency in driving projects to completion
  • You know when something is over your head and aren't afraid to ask for help
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously
  • Pro-active problem-solver who anticipates and addresses problems before they arise and works cross-departmentally to deliver holistic enablement solutions
  • Certification/Degrees in Instructional Design, Education, Multi-media Production (or verifiable equivalent experience
