SMB Sales Manager

At BirdEye, the sales team is responsible for all sales efforts. Their success is central to our organization’s growth. As the SMB Sales Manager, you’ll motivate, coach, and directly lead a team of Inside Sales Account Executives. In addition to a passion for leadership, you have a measurable track record in building and leading high performing inside sales teams. You will play a key role in driving a significant share of revenue for BirdEye.

  • Learn the BirdEye sales process, from prospecting, to discovery and demos, to earning client’s business
  • Hold regular coaching sessions, pipeline reviews, one on ones, and team meetings
  • Lead team performance against quotas and sales forecasts, executes operating plans, and ensures sales objectives are met
  • Set and track sales targets and supporting metrics for your team (leading & lagging indicators)
  • Execute new hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training to ensure your team achieves sales quota
  • Support Sales Director’s strategic initiatives in promoting a high energy, high activity environment
  • Develop SMB AE’s' skill sets to move them into the next step in their BirdEye career
  • Grow your management skills by working with our Director of SMB Sales


  • 2-3 years of success in an Inside Sales Management role
  • 4+ years in a sales role (SaaS and B2B preferred) and a top quota performer at your company
  • Full understanding of the sales process from lead to close
  • Passion for hiring, onboarding, coaching, motivating, and developing your team
  • Looking for a Player Coach who loves to get on the phone to help close deals
  • Experience with high growth companies and the ability to find clarity in rapidly changing environment
  • Experience in call coaching to improve long term AE performance
  • Comfortable in leading multiple projects and activities while remaining detail oriented
  • Strong executive presence - you are polished when speaking to groups of people
  • Someone who has the drive to be promoted
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Able to commute daily into our Irving office
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
