Birdeye is looking for hands-on technologists with strong foundations who can learn and pick up new skills on the fly. You would be working with the latest technologies to improve performance and reliability of our features, and improve our development processes as we scale our company.

Responsibilities

• Get involved in solving bugs and delivering features
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to solve complex problems and build products spanning across multiple teams to deliver end-to-end products & features.
• Estimates efforts, identifies risks, devises and meets project schedules.
• Serve as a thought leader and mentor on technical, architectural, design and related issues.
• Support the engineering and product teams in achieving a high level of technical quality, reliability, and ease-of-use.
• Seek to build out a great team
• Develop engineers on the team and help them advance in their careers.
• Grow the team by recruiting great engineers, from outreach through close.
• Mentor / coach engineers to facilitate their development and provide technical leadership to them.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Android, ios and respective technology.
• Hands-on experience in MVVM, MVVM Clean Architecture, MVI, Gradle, Core Data, SQLite, Kotlin DSL, Marden Android Development, swift.
• 8 years or more total experience
• 3 years or more experience in a leadership role with current technical experience
• Ability to achieve consensus amongst stakeholders
• Strong communicator who can streamline the flow of information between Engineering and other teams.
