I am updating my rating. I brought my cat about 2 weeks ago and had a good overall experience here. He got a check up and 2 vaccines. I made an appointment for my other cat to get the same 2 vaccines. I arrived 15 minutes late because once my cat saw the carrier her hid and it took me a while to get him in. The front desk clerk said once I arrived that appointments 15 minutes late get rescheduled but she would ask the Dr. If they could take him. I was the only person there. She went back to check and said ok, and asked me wh... read more

Louie and I just went here for his first visit and it was really great. I saw that it was very close to me with excellent reviews- so I checked it out. Dr Milano was great with the new member of my family and the techs were excellent, as well. Fear not- he had so many treats while he was there that he did not mind the visit. The receptionists are helpful and friendly. The office and exam rooms are clean and tidy. I most appreciated the follow up call the next day checking on Louie and his health. I had a follow up question a... read more

We saw Dr. Robinson after our puppy caught an eye infection. He was extremely informative, pleasant, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain how he was our examining our dog and was thorough and patient with all of our questions. We highly recommend him.

I normally see a family vet who's about three hours away from me, but brought my elderly cat here because she had what I thought was a cold, but in reality was a sudden and aggressive cancer. It was heartbreaking and unexpected, and all happened very fast. The doctor was kind and helpful, offering me options and even calling other clinics who offered more advanced services in case I chose that route. She was also candid and honest when I asked what she would do, and generous in her time and the information she gave me. Ultim... read more

I have been to multiple Caring Hand locations (Van Dorn and Clarendon) and have always had a good, valuable experience with my elderly toy breed dog, but Dr. Maggie Milano is truly a jewel and deserves recognition for going over and beyond what is expected of her. If you want a doctor who truly cares, and takes the time and effort to help you understand your pet's condition and all available options--while always considering the pet's quality of life and comfort--ask to see Dr. Milano. By the way, out of all the vets I have ... read more

I and my pup experienced an incident yesterday which could have gone much worse had Bennie been struck by a car. I am a mobility challenged woman 70's; While the young staffer helped me attempt to walk him into office for bath, he slipped out of his collar and tore off through the parking lot which was cordoned off and full of workmen making noise with machinery. I was no help as I am not able to walk w/o a cane. I want to thank the lady assistants of Caring Hands for running after Bennie who was running in the busy street. ... read more

I have been taking my dog, Fritzz, to Caring Hands, Arlington for 5 years and just rotate through whichever Vet is on duty the day we are scheduled. I was always pleased with each and every interaction with this veterinary hospital. So when I had to make the dreaded end of life decision about my 15 year old love, Dr. Robinson was the vet covering that day. He called me 3 days before the appointment to discuss and walk me through the euthanasia process with empathy, respect and a gentleness I had never experienced. By the ... read more

I love caring hands! I found my cat outside in the bushes during a winter storm. I brought her immediately here because she was in such bad shape. She was only 4 lbs and they believe she is 10-15 years old. They didn't have to, but they helped me not only give her medicine and medical treatment but they got her all cleaned up for me so I could take her home. I've seen her come such a long ways since the day I found her. I wouldn't have been able to save her if it wasn't for the amazing help from the staff here!

I love CHAH. The veterinarians and vet techs are knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. The front desk staff is timely and professional. They make sure you and your pet feel at ease when coming in for a routine check up or a more complicated procedure. Our pup did all her vaccinations and spay at CHAH. Their staff spent ample time answering all my questions and explaining every step. They call to check in a day after each visit, which feels personal and individualized. They are also open until 7 on weekdays and until 2 on weeken... read more
