We started using the clinic in Clarendon and absolutely love everything about it. The clinic is clean, they provide doggie treats, water, blankets, and yellow ribbons for owners to signify their dog needs space. The front desk employee, David, is very nice, friendly, and was able to answer all my questions. The vet techs/assistants, Matt and Heidi, are amazing. I'm so eternally grateful for Caring Hands' care of my precious baby. No one is actually from the D.C. commuting area who is on Yelp looking for a vet--I know, I get it, so let me help end your search. Caring Hands has several locations in the area and I've been to two of them and they were both great, but this review is specifically for the Arlington one on Glebe. This is a very nice animal hospital and they really do seem to have caring hands as they treated him gently, pretty him and didn't take his temperature rectally which he absolutely hates. We recently moved across town so we needed to find a vet closer to home very quickly when my dog was having an issue with his ear. We easily got a same day appointment at the regular price, which was consistent with what we were paying at the prior vet. They fixed him right up and he wasn't agitated at all. I think we've got a new vet.

Awesome customer service. Didn't have much of a wait. Dr was great and very accommodating and knowledgeable. My previous vet is pretty far so I needed one close. Googled this location and it's 5 mins away. How convenient. Also my other vet was pretty basic with decor and staff, it's nice to not have a long wait and more than one front desk employee.

Dr Robinson is the best vet I have seen thus far. Recently relocated from Los Angeles with my pups. I've had a heck of a time finding someone I trust and who really takes the time to not only care, but to offer alternative solutions and not simply push pills. Very thoughtful, friendly, and caring vet. It is worth the distance.

Our original vet before we moved to the Clarendon location. Wonderful staff and clean facility. We had our dog's teeth cleaned and a broken tooth extracted. Expensive, but everything was explained, and all services were listed in terms of priority. That way we could make the best decision for our dog, while still considering cost. The one thing that I have been slightly frustrated with, is that it can be hard to get an appointment without a lot of lead time. Understandable since this is a popular location. We are writing to give a special shout out to Dr. Dennehy for her outstanding service and compassion. Our 6-year old Lab was diagnosed with a fatal disease - Lymes nephritis - and Dr. Dennehy was extremely responsive and empathetic in regards to questions about blood work and the grim diagnosis. She listened to our cries and put us at ease with her words and helped us in making the final decision to end her suffering. She truly is a highly knowledgeable and caring vet. My dogs have been patients at Caring Hands for 10 years, and we have always had a wonderful experience with every visit. However, I felt compelled to write this review because of the absolutely exceptional care that Dr Robinson has provided to us and especially my diabetic miniature schnauzer. Dr Robinson really does care about my dog and makes a point to tell me that every time we come in. In addition, I have never had a doctor take so much time to explain things to me. Our cat, Rupert, has been seeing Dr. Robinson for the past 3 years. While Rupert has never been 'excited' about vet appointments, but he is always very at ease around the Caring Hands staff. Everyone we've interacted with has always exuded patience, warmth, and a genuine love for animals.
