My boyfriend and I recently got our first puppy, Reddington. We chose Caring Hands and couldn't be happier. They were so nice to our puppy and patient with us as we asked a ton of questions! They treated Reddington so well and helped him feel comfortable. He really seems to get excited about the vet! However, even after leaving, they text/email to check on how he is doing, etc. They are so attentive to their patients and you can tell they really care. I am so glad we chose Caring Hands.

I have always had great experiences with Caring Hands off S. Glebe but today was exceptional. We switched over to this practice almost 2 years ago after having consistent issues getting a timely appointment with our last Vet office and am happy we did when we did. I have a 3 yr old pit bull with chronic skin/allergy issues so needless to say- we have had our fair share of visits. We switched to this vet after several years at a vet that services and professionalism were rapidly declining. After reading several reviews, I decided to give Caring Hands a try. Best decision for our pets. Caring Hands techs and vets are kind, professional and actually like people and animals. They have great hours and you can book online after seeing them which is very convenient. The location has ample parking.

Lots of vets in the DC area seem to be more interested in the numbers of tests and procedures they can do. Caring Hands on S Glebe Road have seen us through the passing of elderly animals, a quite difficult operation on a super chewer who ate a red kong, and our current dog, who just had a tooth extraction. They've patiently explained what our choices were, helped us decide the direction even when it wasn't to their best financial benefit, and are staffed with caring, loving people. I would recommend them to anyone.

First time dog owner and first trip to any vet, so I don't have a lot by way of comparison, but these folks LOVE their patients. Right from the first contact they made Mischa B feel welcome, and we had a great first visit to the doc. Dr. D recommended some vaccines, but not a hint of hard sell, in fact, they said some meds were cheaper on the internet. Take my money. Honest dealing and clearly visible compassion for animals ensure that I'll be back. (But hopefully not for an unplanned visit)

Dr. Robertson has done a great job with my two dogs. His recommendations especially helped one of my dogs overcome his aggression issues. He explains everything so clearly and seems to take a personal interest in his clients and their animals. His British accent doesn't hurt either!

Took my Great Dane boy and everyone here was beyond friendly. He's a 150lb scaredy cat and didn't want to even step foot in the place. Vet and assistants were all beyond wonderful. They even gave him a toy when he left!

First impression: this office is a nicer facility than MY doctor's offices! We've only been to one appointment so far, but I am very impressed! Brought in our nine week old Husky puppy to get her next set of vaccinations, get her stitches out, and establish as a patient. We had an 8:30 PM appointment on a Thursday night. The staff were competent, courteous, and very friendly.
