Went to Caring Hands initially to see Dr. Todd, who is wonderful, but sadly is moving. However, she introduced us to Dr. Robinson today and he was awesome! We took up way too much of his time, but he was very patient and thorough - talk about making a great first impression. Also, the tech, Megan, was good with our dog, and the support staff were all nice. And only an extra $20 to go in on Sunday - that's a bargain so I don't miss work. An amazing vet hospital! Would not use anyone else in the area for my little guy. Every doctor there is great. Highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet in the area.

Everyone who works here is extremely competent, professional, and--as the name suggests--caring. We have been here numerous times with our two dogs and always leave feeling better (as do our dogs).

I absolutely love this place. They are so genuinely kind... from the people in the front to the vet techs to the vets. My rescue dog had heartworms and I was absolutely heartbroken. Dr. Todd was incredibly sympathetic and walked me through the entire process of what the plan of action was. I brought my dog here for an annual exam and vaccines. Everything went smoothly. They did a follow-up phone call. The vet did not try to sell anything. In fact, she told me that my dog is very healthy and young so just an annual exam every year is ok. I took one star off because all decisions of what kind of vaccines my dog can have that day are made by the vet tech and me. My dog have two shots due and additional two will be due in two months. My fiance and I love this vet! We have been taking our dog there since we got her as a 12 week old puppy and have had no complaints! Our dog is extermely nervous around strangers (we rescued her when she was just a baby but still gets scared easily) and the vets/vet techs do that best to make her (and myself) as comfortable as possible during the visits. Love them! They are honest. The doctors will tell you if they think you really need something for your pet or if they think you can do without, they aren't just out to take your money. The prices are comparable to other vets in the area which, lets be honest, is expensive in NoVa. They have evening hours and they are open on Sunday which is a plus. I am writing this review based on customer service and follow up. Our dog ate a pillow over the weekend while at a friends house. She was fine for a few days but on Sunday she started to vomit. She got up the pillow or so it looks but we were worried about her so the calls began. I am the type of person that over researchers everything. I have been to four vet hospitals since I moved here three years ago. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!! I don't dislike the other vets, however, when your pet needs a surgical procedure and you're referred to a "specialist" that quotes you $4k-that's just ridiculous. We came to Caring Hands because of a referral from a rescue I work with. The fact that they do work for rescues won me over IMMEDIATELY.
