Could barely make it through one night; not worth the money. The facilities were subpar- 1.5 inch gap under door, door really hard to open or close, exposed bare plywood, broken TV (fixable with much fiddling by husband), lights flickered, wallpaper peeling, bed uncomfortable. On top of that, none of our devices would connect to the internet and even when down the problem the only response was "sorry" with no attempts to rectify the situation. Ended up leaving after one night to stay at a better hotel down the street.

Horrible We reserved Carmel Inn and Suites, but after checking in we were told that this hotel was closed and were switched to Carmel Oaks inn and Suites. We were reluctant, but proceeded to Carmel Oaks. Once there, we were greeted by a not so friendly front desk person and I asked for 2 beds as that is what we reserved. Went to the room and we found 1 bed and a pull out. Went back to the front desk person and he explained that’s all they had and go back to the original property. Bed was comfortable. Ice machine broken all 4 days. Greeters at main desk need to learn to smile. TV remote did not work. staff did fix it for us after 2 phone calls. refrigerator in room 23 broken. Our cokes burst from the control not working. Told to go across the street if we wanted ice. Juice machine broken on first day. eating area could hve been a bit cleaner. Skimpy on choice of food.
