The service is GREAT but the food us meh. It's good if you're drunk and hungry. Both Melissa and Alex? (night shift counter staff) were AWESOME! If I owned a business, I'd ask them to come work for me. Service was OUTSTANDING!!

This place is in the tropicana Laughlin hotel. Breakfast is pretty good and not bad prices. Ham steak comes with hash browns and toast which I opted out of. Not a bad place to grab a bite to eat if you're staying here.

fish and chips unbeatable great the beef dip amazing for breakfast i recommend chicken fried steak so delicious and they put a biscuit on there with gravy so so good...

Nothing great about this place but the choices are slim in Tropicana Resort. Breakfast was super plain. Not much taste to anything. Dinner I had steak which was not like grilling it on charcoal. Baked potato was very good. And the salad was pretty good. The help was pretty friendly.
The biscuits and gravy are excellent! My waitress, I didn't catch her name, was super friendly. I got seated fast, my food came pretty fast, it was warm, delicious, & satisfying.
Carnegie's has gone through a lot of changes with the rebranding of the Ramada into the Tropicana, the eventual demise of the hotel's train theme, and now the "year of covid" closing and cutbacks - but this restaurant keeps on churning out some great food nonetheless (albeit on an abbreviated menu in light of the current dining restrictions). This is BY FAR the best breakfast on Laughlin Blvd., and probably the best in a 200 mile radius. Seated right away. Spacial distanced seating. Ordered. Food came out in well under 10 minutes, fresh & piping hot, as it should. This was so great. Tough to recall the last breakfast I had out anywhere that came close to this. Service was great. For a in house cafe, the food was incredibly good. The place is like 25% capacity so the food is quick to come out. Robert, our server was a really nice guy and on top of it. Not just because it was slow but because he is attentive. Went twice and perfect every time.
Had lunch at this café yesterday while waiting for bingo at the Tropicana in Laughlin, NV. A friend and I decided to share the nachos which were really good. Lots of meat beans and other toppings. We both ate till we were about to bust and then played bingo. After which we went home to have some tums (jalapeno's). The service was good; they followed covid precautions; the food came fast and payment was easy! Would recommend this one to others!
