I'm not sure why they have a low star rating. They have one of the best Philly cheesesteak I've had in a while. Service was great even late night. Salad was fresh. Their blue cheese dressing was good. They're open 24/7. We missed out on the midnight deal but we heard it was really good. Bread was super fresh and the steak fries were excellent. Will be back for more!

Service is good a great alternative to dennys. Cozy and simple. I stay at the tropicana when im here this place is right on the casino floor. Great daily specials and prices are reasonable.

Great food. Got 6 type of meals and all the meals were great. Steak was excellent, great taste. The burger was good as well. Fries are bomb. Smash potato was good as well.

It had been ages since we last dined at Carnegie's Dining Car. In the distant past, although the food was good, we became exasperated by far too slow service, and so stopped patronizing this place. But, after two changes of management, I deemed it appropriate to come in for a second look. This time service was pretty fast and efficient, and the food was good but definitely not great. Breakfast was great. Service was wonderful. We had a guy named Devin he was funny and even personally cooked my toast well done to make sure it was right! How can you complain about that? Thanks Devin!

This was the fourth time my wife and I had breakfast and lunch here. Nothing fancy but a lot better then standing in line at a buffet. Our servers have always been great. The time food gets out of the kitchen is a little slow. Remember, your in a casino, If it looks busy pick a different time. The girls get slammed in a rush like in all restaurants. For the $$ it's OK. If you want fancy try a buffet, there are plenty in town.

We went to the Trop tonight for dinner at Carnegies Dining Car and to hear a band that we like, but I got my dates crossed I guess, no band, it was Football Friday. We still had a great time at the Trop, diner was good and or server was a kick, wish I would have gotten her name so I could give her credit here. If you are in Laughlin and you are gambling in the tropicana express (formerly the ramada express.) and you feel yor tummy-a grumbling something awe-ful....THIS is where you go. like most coffee shops in gambling communities they seem to be just as confused about what time of the day it is as you are, So Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is available whenever you want it...which i thought was great. As far as in-casino dining options, this place could be worse. That being said, we were not impressed with the food nor service. We ordered pretty standard diner stuff: meat and veggies, and a small salad. We also ordered pierogies, just because they seemed interesting. None of the food was that good, and the pierogies, an appetizer, came out as a dessert. WTF? Our server was lazy and seemed uninterested.
