Ate breakfast here while in town for the Laughlin marathon. Ordered the basic Sunrise Breakfast with coffee and it was pretty much exactly what I expected. Nothing fancy or innovative (which is what I reserve my 5* ratings for) but definitely sufficient for what I needed. I didn't like the smoke from the casino, a bit off-putting while eating breakfast, but it IS inside the casino so what else did I expect, right? Service was friendly and food came out quickly. I had some work to do on my laptop and they were kind enough to ... read more

Service is wonderful! Best staff I've met in the casinos around here, and that is saying a lot, as I've had a lot of great servers on my long visit to this area. Food isn't bad, but it can be pretty hit or miss. Depends what you like or in the mood for. Standard diner fare open 24hrs, which is always great when you sleep all day and work nights. Soups were great. Scrambled protein omelet wasn't bad for what it was. Delicious gravy on fluffy biscuits. Hard ass waffle, tastes like cardboard, with ok strawberries, sickly swee... read more

Great food and service! This second time was as good or better than the first! Very pleased. The steak burger was huge and messy just how I like it. The waiter was friendly and took care of me. Awesome job!

While staying at the Tropicana for the River Regatta, four friends and I decided to eat dinner at the café. Great service and serviceable food. I had the Cobb salad, which was good but terribly overdressed. (And, for some reason, it was topped with a large piece of lavash propped atop it like a shark fin!) One friend ordered the BLT "with extra B," and another had the chicken-fried steak. Fine and fine. The standout order in our group was definitely the "Bacon, Bacon, and Egg Burger," which my husband and our fifth friend... read more

Good food. The BLT was excellent and the waitress (Destyni - correct spelling) was awesome. Gave me my own carafe of coffee. The even have tables in what looks like a train box car.

This is a good late night place to eat while you're with your drunk friends! Don't forget to use your comps! The milk shakes are good!

This place is cute with great service, but not the absolute best place to eat in regards to flavor. It still has its pros and cons though. Pro Service is phenomenal! They took us in immediately, found us a really great spot to watch people playing on the slot machines. Then our waiter was so kind, and held great conversation with us. When we had arrived it was near midnight, so the waiter said he would wait a few minutes to put in our order so that we would get the midnight prices (which are a lot cheaper). Then he would co... read more

The only reason I'm leaving a 4 instead of a 5 star is because of the breakfast. I wasn't impressed. However we came for dinner Friday night and Mickey was our waitress. There was 6 of us. The food was delicious. Came out very quick and it was hot. Our drinks as well. We tried pretty much a little bit of everything and everybody left full and satisfied. Mickey our waitress was very friendly. Took the time to get to know us, explain the menu and even we cracked a few jokes. She made us feel very welcome. We would come back an... read more

The first visit was not great.. Service killed my vibe. BUT THIS REVIEW IS FOR MY MOST RECENT VISIT, yup gave it a second shot because the food was promising the first time around (and because Coco's totally dissed us so we left there) and Carnegie's was totally worth it again!!! But this time was even better! Jr. Was our server and he did a great job! The food was amazing, try the fried zucchini seriously! Can't say anything bad about Carnegie's or the Tropicana! I'm a local across the river, and will continue to recommen... read more
