I discovered today that my account was changed to paperless billing without my consent. I had received a late notice last month and assumed the paper statement got misplaced. I hadn't seen a statement for this month and decided to look online. My account said that I was enrolled in paperless billing (I never signed up for this service). If only I could give zero star for this ridiculous company. My appointment got rescheduled twice. The first time was because of the technician did not notify me (via phonecall, door bell or knock) when he arrived, so how was I supposed to know?? On the second appointment, I never got their automated call 30 minutes before the appointment, then suddenly they rescheduled it. They call you less than a half hour to cancel and reschedule your appointment!! My furnace maintenance was scheduled and the time they gave me for them to show up was between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p m. - and at 1:40' they called and canceled it and had to reschedule for another day - a week away- for the same wait time! I scheduled my first appt in the middle of Sept. And they told me they could schedule me in November! And now they cancelled!! I sure hope they send someone that knows what they are doing this time!!
Trying pay towards my bill. What a joke. Won't take money unless it is in full. Won't work with you to get heat in your home. 31 degrees outside. Then also just get hung up on.
Do not waste your money getting Home Service Plus! it's a complete rip-off trust me. Our refrigerator works just fine. However, we have one little issues with the freezer freezing up. And now we're being told that is not fixable, after spending more than $6,777 in the last 9 year, with only about three or four service calls. it's definitely not worth the money, and they do not respect your time as well. Worst company ever.....unfortunately they have what amounts to be a monopoly so I don't have a choice for another provider. Bought a second home in June and promptly set up a natural gas service account with them. Only 2 appliances which use NG are the furnace and gas fireplace so I had no need to utilize either until October. Went to fire up the furnace and gas fireplace and nothing. They need to keep their customer service in Minnesota open beyond Friday to schedule reconnect appointments and set the appointment to a specific time not a generalized 8-4 pm. No one can sit home for 8 hours waiting around for them to show up. When you set an appointment make sure to set a specific time. Horrible customer service on their part. We have no hot water. We are on the Service Plan for all appliances in our home. After waiting for 12 hours, no one ever showed up. I called and was told that they work until all their jobs are complete. This is a LIE. I called twice and requested a supervisor but of course none were available and none ever called me back. Now we are into day 2 1/2 and still no one has called nor shown up and still no hot water.
