The initial installation was great but unfortunately one window arrived cracked. A replacement was ordered, delivered after several months but was the wrong window. A replacement was reordered and several months later we are still waiting. Phone calls are not returned, promises are not kept. I would have to assume at this point any gaurantees are worthless until proven otherwise.
A friend suggested CWDS and I hired this company to install a 3 season sun room (Colorado). This process started in July 2024 and it is now December. The techs who came out and started the build started doing a good job, from what I could see. Then I noticed issues, the sub floor is not treated, the panels to protect the insulation, under the floor, is non-treated 1/2" osb. Horrible!! Terrible! Took my money and promised me a sliding glass door in August, 2024. Said it would be installed in 7-8 weeks. I asked for my money back since I never heard back from them and they said they plan to keep 30% regardless of whether they deliver or not!
I initially reached out in August of this year to get a quote for my sliding glass door. The first rep who came was nice and suggested just servicing the door. Then he never gave my information to the scheduling office. I had to contact him and remind him after two weeks of no contact. Then the next rep who came out to do a quote said we should replace the tracks, the rollers and the lock, and if I purchased the dog door parts, they would install them. Purchased new windows on 2023. Installed in April of 2024. Two windows broke upon installation. Champion representatives left messages stating numerous times the replacement windows were “on the truck and ready for scheduling.” No calls back to schedule install. Finally get the official call for the replacements. They were the wrong windows. Have not had any updates on the replacements for the replacements. This company is not quality and needs to be held responsible for terrible products and services.
Horrible Company. Install an egress window in the bedroom that wasn't need. The window was install before they finalized the permit to build an attached sun room to the bedroom. The permit was denied and they charged me $4,000 for a window I did not need. Took 8 months to finally have someone get back to me both locally and at their HQ, and they did not want to take any responsibility for the error. Please do not ever do business with this company. They DO NOT care about ANY customer satisfaction.
I would give this company no stars. I had 7 windows replaced in my home. 5 windows had problems. One window had fingerprints inside the glass. So much for the clean room assembly that I was told. The other windows had what looked like glue strings or spider webs inside the window. After waiting a couple months, the windows finally showed up to replace the first set. HORRIBLE COMPANY. We had $10,000 window installed over a month ago and by the time they were done there was a lot wrong. One of the windows dosnt even open because its so tight, there is several nails sticking out of the framing, the same framing that is 1inch away from the wall because theres something behind it pushing it away from the wall, glass all over my front yard(been a month and im still picking up pieces of glass). You have been warned. Do not go with this company. Check out their reviews in other states on BBB. They do not stand by their warranties (per other reviews). They will be great to deal with for the first 30 days. After that, you are locked into the contract and all customer service and promises go out the window. Plan on it taking twice as long to get your ordered product. I made my order in April, 2024 and it was promised (in contract) that we would have our product delivered and installed in 90 days.
