Champion Window Company poor service and customer service. ********the manager at 8 Fernandina Rd Columbia, SC is very unprofessional and the service they provided on my home was of poor quality they took advantage of me not knowing the cost of siding. It’s been only eight months and part of the siding is coming loose. They told me that certain things would be done and it was not. I called today looking for an update on her Window Order sign on 4/8. It was cancelled by Champion for being 24% under par. No one reached out to me to give me the chance to pay what was necessary to process, or to let me know it was going to be cancelled. I have been trying to reach her sales **** **** C since 4/28 and he would not return her calls. I have never seen such a horrible company. Can't stand by their own contract that was signed. If this was the other way. I am sure Champion would have sued me....
Horrible experience dealing with them. Poor workmanship, never return calls, incomplete projects, breach of contract to say the least. Tore up landscaping to check foundation for sunroom. A foundation they had put down in 2007 when original sun room was built. They refused any responsibility for the damage and we had to have the original landscapers fix their mess. Storm of 4/2/2024 destroyed that sun room when a tree fell on it. They brought wrong size door and screens. Paid $46,967! Three doors do not lock. They installed ... read more
Horrible Customer service. Will nickle and dime you every single time you have an issue. I don’t believe I should have to pay $130 for a technician to visit my home for an estimate on repairing their product when I will be paying for the repair. Do not use this company.
CHAMPION WINDOWS… avoid like the plaque! So some people feel you need the whole story to fairly judge so here it goes… About 20-22 yrs ago we had a large picture window installed. From day one it fogged up and you could feel a breeze around the edges. We called several times and their customer service rep insisted that that’s the nature of a large window like this. Avoid this company if customer service is important to you. I had 2 Champion windows that had leaked gas and was covered by lifetime warranty. On Oct. 30, 2024 I sent them the information they needed to order. They said it would take 3 TO 4 MONTHS to receive them. After five months of no word from them I contacted them they said they had just received one window but had not contacted me. Window immediately cracked on the first cold night and I cant get in touch with anyone at champion for the warranty service. What a waste of money
Contacted Champion 6 weeks ago for service, seal has broken and patio screen door wheels had rusted and not working properly and i paid $160 for trip fee. . Service tech came out today 5-8-25 and took measurements and pictures of windows and work order had repair screen on patio screens. Not wheels. He left without telling he would be back, etc. After 2 calls to service center I was told that he took measurements and it would take 7-10 weeks for glass to come in. BUYER BEWARE!! We wrote a contract with Champion Windows on 04/07/25 & paid a deposit. On 04/11/25 the Salesperson came to our door, unannounced, and told us he made a mistake. They were unable to do our windows for the contract price - it would cost an additional $2000.They returned our deposit.
