The spinal mechanism keeps coming apart.latches weak and brake often.I am afraid to open and close these windows, the mechanisms quality is so weak.
From the very beginning, my experience with Champion Windows has been a nightmare. The sales process was terriblethe sales rep showed up 30 minutes late and then dragged out the meeting into a 3-hour long sales pitch. Negative Zero Rating but had to give 1 star to post. Don't waste your time or money on Champion no matter how good a deal may appear. I had issues with windows not long after install and my sign off. Texted and spoke with installer a couples and which was suppose to come back but never showed up. Now, it's costing more money to have these windows removed and re-installed correctly with flashing and proper corking inside and out, replacement walls/framing, etc due to black mold. My wife and I purchased 5 windows from these crooks on 9/16/2023 for $20K. That's when the lies began. Window installation started on 4/17 and was to continue on the 20th, however, the crew never showed up for the second day. The windows installed on the 17th were done wrong. Mulled windows were not installed with the faces flush, so there was a difference of 1/4" -1/2" difference. I have had the WORST experience with Champion in Phoenix Arizona, used them before many years ago and they were great. Have been practically begging for a cancellation and a refund for over 6 months and nothing. We paid a deposit and have nothing to show, run from this company at all costs! When you run, doesn't matter the direction, the attire or time of time of day just run and don't look back.
We had Champion Windows installed for our whole home several years ago with a promise of a lifetime glass breakage warranty. Several months ago one of our bedroom windows developed a full length crack. We have ordered a replacement but they told me their warranty replacements are 6 months out. Warranty is a scam. 120.00 to even come out. I WAS SOLD ON A 75.00 DEDUCTIBLE FOR ANY REPAIRS. NOT TRUE AT ALL. THINGS ACTUALLY HAVE A FIVE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY,AND COVER NOTHING FOR STORM DAMAGE AFTER I WAS TOLD SIDING COULD WITHSTAND 135MPH WIND ECT. ANY DAMAGE WOULD BE A 75.00 DEDUCTIBLE. I SPENT $35.000 ON THIS SCAM. CAN'T EVEN GET A HOLD OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND CAN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE AS THE MAILBOX IF FULL. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.
Champion Windows was once a good business and trustworthy, however; has declined in product, installation, and customer service over the years. I have been trying to have windows replaced under warranty for a year and a half now and mismeasures and lack of staffing have culminated into 5 visits and one reschedule over this time period. Each requiring at least a 2-3 month window to schedule again.
