Waiting for service almost five years for several warranty problems. My basement french doors are forced close using crowbars by champion technicians because they did not had a complete set of doors. Champion technicians informed their office in Baltimore over a year ago to order new set of doors. Baltimore office informed after many calls that the doors and the glass are in the warehouse. After YEARS of trying to get failed windows replaced by this terrible company--delay, faulty information, etc--I've come to the conclusion that Champion Windows is not just exploitive and incompetent but actively deceptive as well. Every time I call, "Kathy" or "Wendy" apologizes for my frustration and reassures me that "Ashley" or "Jenny" or some other scheduler will call me back within 48 hours. WORST experience. I am so regretful that I paid more by far for Champion's windows as compared to other companies. The window replacement project took far longer than projected by the salesman. We had no communication from our "project manager" other than when I called customer service to complain and for updates of the process. $50,000 plus window and door replacement ordered May 2023. Windows slightly delayed but installed within a reasonable time frame. Frustration with lack of communication about progress of order. Doors delayed several more months. Again no communication. Had to leave several messages to get any response. Doors installed but the screens were not with the order. I'm very surprised to see a 4 star rating for this company. Champion is AWEFUL!!! We started a project with this company in February 2022 to have both entry DOORS and sliding glass patio doors installed. Measurements to have doors installed were done on March 4th and technician advised project would be completed in 6-8 weeks. No work has been completed yet, but monthly statements started to arrive displaying when payments would start. I had 5 Windows installed Oct 25. One of the frames broke during install which lead to the window not being sealed and them having to order a replacement which I thought they had. Near the end of December they reach out to set an appointment for Jan 11th and I was under the impression my frame was in and they were coming to fix it. We started a project with this company in September 2021 to have both windows and siding installed. No work had been completed yet, but bills started to arrive. A schedule was set and a team arrived on a very cold October 2021 (1 month) day to install windows. The work was done quickly and with no issues. We hired Champion for enclose patio. The sales rep provide a good presentation, however nothing has worked out since last year. We are still dealing with this mess since last year and they have not started the project yet. He asked for $4000 down and we finance the project We are paying for something we have not seen any movement thus far. We prefer a full refund of all our money or the patio project done immediately. Do NOT hire this company. The sales presentation was very good, but nothing has gone well since then. I ordered 5 windows and a sliding glass door. I signed the contract in Feb. 2022 and the order was not complete until 51 weeks later. I moved all the furniture out of the room where the windows were to be installed, only to find out the factory had measured incorrectly and there could be no installation that day.
