I have never had a more unprofessional experience with a contractor. The installation contractors were 2 hours late multiple times, slow to work, and incredibly disrespectful to me at my own home (not saying hello when greeted, refusing to answer questions, leaving the front door open when not working, despite me asking that they closed it whenever possible, raising their voices at me, and driving away with my materials when asked a simple question). Do not get Champion Windows.
The windows were way too large and hard to install properly. The windows were not centered in the openings. I asked the installer if the reveal on the inside would be even clear around and he said yes, however they were off by as much as 1/2 inch. The discrepancy made it very difficult to trim the windows properly. I was a finish carpenter for many years and would have never installed windows that shabbily. When someone dies they can't work with the family to make adjustments to the price or let you cancel the project.
All the problems that we still have and have not heard anything back. We need all of the windows replaced and I don't think we will go back to Champion.
