The products are good but because of the help that they have, it is a one.
Champion should receive the lowest rating possible. I had hail damage and dealt with a roofing company, a gutter company, another window company, a painter, and electrical work. All were professional and timely EXCEPT Champion. Champion lied to me on more than one occasion. The company ignored me and put me off for months. I probably called them about 15 times in a four month period for a simple job.
I had one window and one screen damaged on delivery. It took Champion approx 5 weeks to get it replaced but I am still waiting on the screen so that has been about 6 weeks totally unacceptable.
The sales team did not order the correct materials to do the job. Had to reorder and the entire job was far beyond the scheduled install date.
The day the installation crew showed up the first thing they said to me were all the things they were not going to do. They were already in a negative mood. The communication between the salesman and the installation crew was not great and they put us in the middle of the communication with their lack of professionalism in relaying their frustrations with each other. It was not a good experience at all.
The product is expensive but good. Sales are uncomfortably high-pressure. We had to compromise on the windows because they didn't have the features we wanted. We were grateful that the man who did the final measure was very nice and informative. Delivery took longer than we expected and we had to call for an update. Installers were prompt, polite and willing to work with us on window trim, but seemed extremely rushed.
