Waited 55 mins for my 9:30am appointment. They couldn't be that backed up so early. Staff was friendly but that doesn't give me my hour back. I have to be at work too!
I called for an appointment, left message. When I get a call back, the caller sounds clueless. I had to repeat my information 3 times. She gives me an appointment and then tells me she will transfer me to someone else "for the appointment"? HUH? The other person gets on and she has no idea who I am. I just told her to forget about it - they're SLOW. There are too many doctors in the city to deal with this.
I came to Chelsea Eye and Cosmetic in 2015 for Cool Sculpting on my arms and after spending $1,500 and almost a year dealing with a nightmare, I have seen ZERO results. Let me start off by saying that arms are not fda approved and are considered an "off label" area. I signed a contract knowing this and took the risk, which is my fault. Just recently had an appointment here and I agree with the other negative reviews. It is not only a money factory but they insult your intelligence at the same time. The attitude seems to be that they are doing you a tremendous favor by being available and they expect you to wait cheerfully until they are good and ready to "service" you. Dr. Eviatar is above all a salesman. My face was a canvas used to deposit fillers I did not know I wanted or needed. I paid for my compliance economically (8K) but worse I have been trying to fix my inflated and lopsided face for the past 8 months.
I've noticed that the majority of the Five Star reviews on this clinic are for typical LASIK and cataract surgeries, which tens of thousands of doctors can perform with equal ability. Believe me, that's no big deal. But my personal experience with the folks at "The Chelsea Money Factory" has been essentially, a waking nightmare. First, the office. BAD! DONT VISIT THIS DOCTOR! This doctor was the third doctor I had seen about my eye problem. His advice sounded way off base from what the other told me. My primary eye doctor said if I followed his instructions there is a chance I'd be permanently blinded. THEN before ever sending me a bill for the visit, they put it into collections. I'm now fighting with the collection agency. Don't see this doctor. What a horrible experience.
Well, in a word: horrible. I visited for what I thought would be a routine visit and developed severe complications afterwards. When I contacted them, they refused to address the issue. In fact I'm still suffering and had wasted a good deal of time seeking follow up checkups from various opthalmologists. Prospective patients would do well to evaluate carefully. This place does not deserve any stars in my view, but I need to give at least one for the review to go through.
I went to see Dr. Eviatar for Botox. I've been Botox for two years. I thought that I went to an experienced doctor. He never listened to what I suggested. He did what he wanted to do. A few days after the treatment I noticed that my eye brows and eyelids had dropped. My eyes look hooded sad, and sunken. And both eyes feel heavy. This was the exact opposite effect of what I wanted. I do not recommend this doctor.
